Introduction

As there are many companies and organizations operating around the world and in multinational environment today, it’s clear that there is an improving connection among countries and nations, so as a result that would cause the cultural differences to disappear and diminish. Also, since the economic boarders come down, cultural barriers usually go up, this would cause and create new challenges and opportunities in business.

Some universal leadership principles that are known to be very effective when they are applied in multinational corporations and environments. However, leaders in multinational environment must understand the limitations of one’s own cultural norms. In addition, leaders will definitely have the most positive influence if they have the willingness to recognize the limitations of their own cultural norms.

This Literature View will explore the universal leadership principles and how they can be employed to overcome their own national culture when they are working in a multinational environment.

The Development of Global Leadership Model

Seemingly Globalization is filled with many organizations and leaders within them because of the fast pace and weak trained leaders had to deal with understanding the various communities across the world. Many of the organizations around the globe spend more time and resources in order to provide their employees training on new equipment and software than developing managerial and leadership skill that major impacts on the organization and the employees’ development.
