This seems like it should be a natural process but she suggests that when we treat learning as a foreign process, something to be analyzed and deciphered, we can better "explore the profound cultural force language exerts in [our] everyday lives." Allow me to explain. Parenting stories will give expecting mothers and fathers loose guidelines to follow as they embark on their new journey as parents. As I mentioned in the first point, we interact differently as we form unique relationships, and parenting stories will teach future parents how to properly communicate with their children. Overcoming a particularly difficult challenge will transform your life and perhaps your identity; therefore, a story on this topic could be considered a literacy narrative. Additionally, studying one literacy story can assist us in understanding our other literacies. We communicate differently with certain people. We learn using unique techniques depending on the subject. Occasionally, we experience beautiful, life-changing moments. Stories on each of these occurrences will teach us about reacting to the next life-altering moment, studying for a subject that you have never taken a course on before, or even communicating with our future
