When you are researching what is best for your future, look no further. The lineman career has amazing pay and the hours are very convenient for raising a family. At the beginning of this process I had a choice between 3 topics, but I had to choose one to research. My choices were lineman career, going to school for safety science, and being a professional soccer player. Being a lineman is the one I am most serious about. In my research I found that the amount a lineman makes can be impacted by where you are located, and the level of training you have. Starting wages for apprentice linemen range from $36,000 to $54,000 a year. But for a Journey man, which is an experienced lineman, their wages range from $65,000 to over $100,000 a year. Another question I had was where are lineman jobs available. They are available all over the country. It just depends on what company you work for. When you a graduate from a company sponsored lineman school the company will look to see where they are in need of lineman, and they will send you there. Often that may not be close to home so you might have to relocate. If being relocated is not something that bothers you then as long as you become a certified lineman you should have no problem finding a job. I chose to research a physical therapist because it provides an opportunity to help people. This is a good career for me because it is in the medical field, which is where I want to be headed towards, and is not extremely stressful. Physical therapists use human biology more than chemistry, which is an advantage because I find biology more interesting. It is a good balance between studies, physical activity, and personal relationships. On the other hand, it requires a lot of school, which will take a lot of time and money. Looking from a bigger picture, the amount of school will be beneficial and the career advantages will outweigh the downsides. Overall, a physical therapist sounds like a very excellent fit for me.

I would like to go into the field of a physical therapist and sports medicine, I fell I will enjoy this more than any other type of career just because I already have a lot of interest in it. Sports medicine involves athletes who are constantly training to be in the best physical shape they can be in.
