My reflection on what I have learned while taking this course, is that I have come to the conclusion that life isn’t going to change by clicking my heels together. I had always hoped it would be that easy! I have to be the one to make changes in my life that will make me happy and more full-filled. Life will always be filled with challenges and heartache, but I guess how I handle it is the key. When dealing with stress, I learned that Stressful situations increase the level of stress hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol in your body. Indulging in physical activity, when I am feeling stressed and tense, like going for a brisk walk in fresh air, can help relief that stress. Incorporating some physical activity into my daily routine on a regular basis, either before or after work, or at lunchtime can make a difference in my overall health. Love is like a never ending story with unpredictable plot twists scattered throughout. Life happens, so don’t desperately search for meaning where there is none. Most relationships don’t end because one partner did something “wrong.” More often, their life paths split in opposite directions. Owning my own quirks, by not feeling self-conscious about my freckles, belly, or wrinkles. Realizing that my quirks make me unique. It 's never too late to start over. If am not happy with yesterday, try something different today. Don 't stay stuck. Do better. Relationships are hard, no doubt about it.
