Last rites are a religious ceremony that is given by a religious counsel to the condemned immediately before the injection is given. Lethal Injection is one of the most controversial topics of this decade. It seems that everyone you ask has some sort of opinion, some agree with it, some don’t, it almost seems like there is no middle ground. What many people do not realize is, Lethal Injection is a well-planned process, it is much more affordable than keeping a murderer alive for the rest of his natural life, and everyone who gets this penalty deserves it. Lethal Injection is a very thoroughly planned process, so much so that the staff doing the injection does dry runs, or practices the execution process, daily for up to a week before the condemned is scheduled to die. This allows for the staff to find any problems in the routine before they become problems.
