LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PLAN Journey as a leader Leadership is a process of influence in which a person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a goal or a specific task. Leadership has nothing to do with seniority or one’s position, with titles, personal attributes but rather a leader is someone who has followers, has the capacity to transform a vision into reality. I require of myself to be answerable to my roommates, friends, family and loved ones who would help me attain these objectives and persons who have invested in me. My enforcer would be my roommate who is also a classmate of mine thus ensuring effective supervision. Rewards With reference to rewards, the success of all the above or at least some would lead to self-fulfillment. I would begin to feel I have matured enough to take on greater tasks in the world. The fact that I was able to change some bad aspects of mine mean I can help others to do so. Sanctions My inability to achieve these objectives would cause me to do an extensive self-evaluation to know the reasons why and if that does not turn out well I may have to see a psychologist to take me through a step by step self-disciplinary approach, career path advisor or a counselor for help.
