This book (the last lecture), is filled with awe-inspiring circumstances. Of course life can come with some hurdles or challenges, but the tendency for Randy to handle his medical situation with phenomenal valor, is an outstanding qualities that shows leadership and focus on what matters to him, his family, and vision before he moved on to the next realm. The first skill observed is goal setting. Dating back to when Randy was a child, he had several goals that he wanted to achieve, and he actualize these dreams. This skills radiated in how he managed his career, his family and as a leader in the technology industry. Anotherl qualities that Randy displayed was consistency. Accepting a decision can be guided by many factors. There are difficult and easy decision to make in various situation. Considering the choices that Randy was faced with, fate left him with difficult decisions that would ultimately force him to eventually pass on leaving his wife and children behind. This was difficult for him, but his tendency as a natural born leader made him accept the decision that left with very short time to stay alive. Lastly, Randy also reflected a joint decision making capabilities. In a group, organization or relationship, It takes a defined level of understanding to be able to understand the other person in order to make a sustainable joint decision. Randy and Jai endured difficult times by making many join decision that reflected their commitments to maintain a happy home, even when Randy 's health was declining. Randy 's last lecture has served as an inspiration and psychological strength to many that has watched or experienced it. Though he was taken away soon than normal due to cancer, but his leadership capabilities was strongly revealed during the lecture. He used it as a means to lay out his legacy and how he wanted to be remembered. This legacy will not only reflect in his wife and children, but also in people that learnt and will learn about his story and his impact in technology
