The title leadership repertoire highlights the necessity of cultivating efficient leadership qualities to evolve as a good leader. Repertoire refers to a reservoir or storage, hence this present chapter profoundly discusses and characterizes the key features a leader has to possess. The four required characters of a leader are like visionary, affiliative, coaching and democratic. But pacesetting and commanding are used with special care. To begin with Shawna Leroy incident, rules were implemented in a wonderful manner in the beginning which thereafter bolstered the the pace of the work. The commendable qualities of a leader are explained in a wonderful manner. How does visionary ideas reverberate? The author provided a wonderful example of Bob pittman who redefined the main mission of the janitors that enhanced them to work in a customer friendly manner and ultimately implemented to work in a supportive manner. …show more content…

The concept of emotional intelligence competence (self-confidence, self-aware ness and empathy) play a role in transformation of a common man to a leader. Transparency, believing in your vision elevates confidence even in your co-workers that drives you reach at the goals astutely. Many leaders in the business applied the same strategy and are still using the same to ensure the growth of an institution both academically and in private organizations.
