“The greatest power is not money power, but political power.”- Walter Annenberg. For years, political powers dictate and establish the rules of governing around the world. With power comes responsibility, as always said. Political powers change and shift over time like the phases of the moon. Leaders are force to step down from their position as new ones rise. Uneven power within a country can cause disarray in modern civilizations. Political leaders do not always fulfill their duties, as they should. In some cases, they can manipulate societies with malicious intensions. If a leader is held with power, there will be spectators whom judge, criticize and, of coarse, support the leader’s form of governing. With this being said, it is our personal perspective on whether you favor an adept political leader’s skills and if the leader should remain in power or be forced to step down, whatever means necessary. Henceforth, Adolf Hitler, accurately, reflects a political power with varying groups of supporters. Hitler had the intentions of creating a “perfect race” by discarding others who did not fit his criteria of blonde hair and blue eyes. Hitler followed theories created by Friedrich Ratzel in which it was stated that countries, like people, must consume land in order to survive. These ideas of lebensraum, or living space, drove Hitler and his supporters to continue to take over land. Hitler’s actions resulted in the death of millions of ethnic people. Viewing in the perspective of the Nazi’s and Hitler’s followers, his actions were justifiable with audacity. They may even have viewed his decisions as heroic. Others saw the mass genocide of differing ethnic groups as a negative impact made by this political power. In the end, Hit... ... middle of paper ... ...sions, the conspiracy decided the only resolution for the foreshadowing actions of Caesar is death. On balance, I am at a neutral stance. Whether political leaders should step down is dependent on the perspective and position of specific people in particular situations. Everyone makes mistakes, some being more harmful than others. A wrongdoing is determined by the standpoint of the viewer; some might believe an action was negatively inappropriate while others benefited from the event. It is a disputable topic whether or not it is all right if a political leader is gotten rid of because he or she does a wrongdoing. Depending on the certain political leaders morals and mottos, will I have the decision to get rid of him or her whatever means necessary. “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power” said by Abe Lincoln.
before he came to power, he just used World War II as his golden opportunity to turn his dream into a reality. Others, with Andreas Hillgruber, argue Hitler was the only reason genocide even happened. If Hitler had not been in control, the Holocaust would have ceased to exist. His key sources include the Nuremburg Trials, quoting him saying “this struggle will not end with annihilation of Aryan mankind, but with the extermination of the Jewish people of Europe.” By using Hitler’s own words against him, Hillgruber makes it easy to prove Hitler’s malicious intent clearly and depict him as the mastermind behind the mass murder of the Jewish population. Gerald Fleming creates the last sub-argument in his book, “Hitler and the Final Solution,” provides an in-depth historical evaluation of German fascism and the mechanization behind the Nazi Party bureaucracy. His main point of reference is David Irving’s, “Hitler’s War,”
Did you know that even though Hitler had brown hair and blue eyes, his idea of a superior race was those with blond hair and blue eyes? He wanted this group of people to be superior to all other races because they represented a clean view of Germany. Hitler used his power to achieve this goal by enforcing many rules and creating many different projects. He wanted the people of Germany to believe that they were superior to all other races and they must do everything to maintain the standards of living in Nazi Germany. Adolf Hitler and his Nazis created the perfect race by influencing the education of children and creating bride schools, the Hitler Youth Program, and Lebensborn birthing homes.
against what Caesar is doing but the point of killing him is to end what he is doing not to
“A leader must be willing to sacrifice likeability in order to make decisions that are for the good of the people.” This is entirely true. When someone is a leader, their job is to watch out for the people and make the right decisions. Not every decision will be favored, but it’s most likely the best. A leader will understand that.
Julius Caesar (100-44 BC) was one of the most outstanding leaders in history. He was the first ruler of the Romano-Hellenic civilization and achieved his goals with great success throughout his life of 56 years. He was assassinated by the conspirators, who accused him for practicing tyranny. This essay will discuss whether it was right for the conspirators to murder Caesar and what its consequences were.
One of the most destructive and arrogant persons in history was Adolf Hitler. The destruction that he and his regime brought on humanity has seldom seen its equal. In reality the Holocaust was a terrible horror, but in Hitler’s mind it was merely a brushstroke in the masterpiece that he believed he was creating. Hitler believed that the Aryan race was superior to all others and that it was only natural, and not cruel, that the higher would show no humanity toward the lower (296). This prejudiced belief predominated Hitler’s thinking. In his essay, On Nation and Race, his assumption that Aryans are superior to all others creates a type of logical fallacy called “Begging the Question” (Rottenberg 291).
Centuries later and the name Adolf Hitler still rings volumes till this present day: discussed in history books, talked about amongst intellects and commoners alike, and despised by many for years to come. Upon hearing his name many may think of all the negative things Hitler has done, but few fail to analyze just how one man created such controversy amongst a nation without being stopped. The question then lies how does a man reign over country and devastate it for years to come? Adolf Hitler, a man who excelled in persuasion and charisma was able to reign over Germany for years. Born in Austria April 20th 1889, Hitler grew up with many hardships in his life.
... too late to do anything about it. So, he kills himself. He did this because he realized what he had done and felt he needed to take accountability. Before he died, he says “Caesar, now be still, I killed not thee with half so good a will.” He is now realizing that he really didn’t have as good a reason as he thought to kill Caesar.
Adolf Hitler (the Führer or leader of the Nazi party) “believed that a person's characteristics, attitudes, abilities, and behavior were determined by his or her so-called racial make-up.” He thought that those “inherited characteristics (did not only affect) outward appearance and physical structure”, but also determined a person’s physical, emotional/social, and mental state. Besides these ideas, the Nazi’s believed tha...
After Germany lost World War I, it was in a national state of humiliation. Their economy was in the drain, and they had their hands full paying for the reparations from the war. Then a man named Adolf Hitler rose to the position of Chancellor and realized his potential to inspire people to follow. Hitler promised the people of Germany a new age; an age of prosperity with the country back as a superpower in Europe. Hitler had a vision, and this vision was that not only the country be dominant in a political sense, but that his ‘perfect race’, the ‘Aryans,’ would be dominant in a cultural sense. His steps to achieving his goal came in the form of the Holocaust. The most well known victims of the Holocaust were of course, the Jews. However, approximately 11 million people were killed in the holocaust, and of those, there were only 6 million Jews killed. The other 5 million people were the Gypsies, Pols, Political Dissidents, Handicapped, Jehovah’s witnesses, Homosexuals and even those of African-German descent. Those who were believed to be enemies of the state were sent to camps where they were worked or starved to death.
Hitler used propaganda and manufacturing enemies such as Jews and five million other people, to prepare the country for war. This shows Hitler’s attempt of genocide toward the Jewish race and other races.
It is possible that Caesar would have been killed by the conspirators another day, but since he did not listen to what the soothsayer and his own wife had to say, he was tragically taken for granted.
As we begin to delve into the source of power corruption we first have to look at the person’s character. As found in research by Katherine A. DeCelles and her colleagues people with low morality or character resulted in them responding badly to power, while those with high morality or character responded much better to power. Even though this was on a fairly small scale character is still a very important part in not only choosing a leader, but also judging how they will respond to power. However just because you have good character
This is what had made Hitler one of the greatest public speakers that the world had ever seen from his time and in history. "The German people and it 's soldiers work and fight today not for themselves and their own age, but also for many generations to come. A historical task of unique dimensions has been entrusted to us by the Creator that we are now obliged to carry out." Hitler, the Fuhrer of Germany, was a very talented spokesman in ways that leaders today could not even begin to compare with. He was charismatic and bold, making it easier for him to win over the minds of many Germans with these two traits. He believed that during his rise to power, he and the people of Germany had been given a duty by God to purify the nation of its imperfect races and weaker people so as to make the mother country strong again for future generations. "Those who want to live, let them fight, and those who do not want to fight in this world of eternal struggle do not deserve to live." In many ways, Hitler felt he was justified in what he was doing, and in some
