Larisa Ann Brand was lying down on her parent’s couch, trying to relax. She was eating leftover pizza and watching her favorite movie, Twilight. There was a pounding in her head, and she felt sick to her stomach. It was her fault too, last night she drank more than she usually does and she’s hardly had any sleep. Her long, wavy black hair was greasy, so she put it into a messy bun.
“Larisa! Come here!” Her mother shouted with an angry tinge to her voice.
She let out a groan, “What?” There was no reply. So she trudged upstairs and found her parents standing by the back door with their bags packed. “What’s this?” Larisa asked with aggression.
They looked at her with disapproving eyes and said, “We’re leaving again so don’t burn down the house or do anything too wild. We’ll be back in about a week.” She didn’t know where they were going, and it didn’t matter. Larisa’s parents didn’t care enough to tell. …show more content…
