Does being adopted by a LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual) couple affect a child’s thinking process/decisions? By looking at the fact that there is no reliable evidence that shows that homosexual orientation, impairs psychological functioning, and growing up in a gay couple household will not “make” a child gay, it is clear that a child is more affected by interaction with their parents and the negative reactions of the public to the family itself, than by their sexual orientations of the parents.
The reality that homosexuals are fully capable of adopting children may be hard for some people to accept. But for adoption agencies to display prejudice and ignorance and disallow adoption for LGBT couples would be to deny an orphaned or foster child the right to happiness and to be loved and cared for by a good family. It states in the Declaration of Independence that everyone has the right to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness, those rights cannot be taken away from a person. Every child deserves to live a full and happy life, and be raised by loving and caring parents, no matter the sexual orientation of those parents. There is a shortage of adoptive parents for children who are not infants; more people would like to raise a child from start to end, not from where somebody else left off. An orphaned or foster child who is not an infant being placed with a family, whether gay or straight is better than not being placed with one at all.
Studies show that an estimated two million LGBT couples and singles are interested in adopting an orphaned or foster child, and almost 40% of all agencies and 83% of public agencies have reported making at least one adoption placement with an lesbian or gay man. But one-third of agen...

As stated in Galatians 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Meaning we are all the same, we all unite as one, no matter what our sexual orientations are.
