Media influences (Social Media and New Channel) Social media has always been known for its virility, for its capacity of blowing things up; reaching greater mass. Thus, if anything spreads in social media, it’s a big news. It’s a medium where everyone is a content creator, a publisher. Social media comes first to rescue, in certain cases, before the law can do anything - or when the law has failed to anything. As much as this is true for present issues and incidents, the social media is also revealing the information about Komagata Maru journey, a historic racism incident. Some sources are showing reality of racism against the Indians in which some are writing and making their own views, some sources shows opposition and some shows favour. Triangular model on Komagata Maru journey Looking on the racism incident happened long years ago in Canada, from structural, ideological, and individual level will make us understand the incident in more details. Focussing on the main group of people who had done racism to Komagata Maru passengers were the immigration agents who had made the illegal laws to enter in with continuous journey from India and having required funds of $200. This was a great shameful moment for Canada in its history. In early 1910s, this incident showed that Canada did not like the Asian immigrants or else they would not have an Asian Exclusion Act knowing that people from Asia cannot make continuous journey without stopping.
