Saying Kobe Bryant is not better than LeBron James is like saying a fire truck is yellow. When indeed a fire truck is red and Kobe Bryant is a better play than LeBron James. Despite LeBron James history and good work ethics, Kobe Bryant is indeed better than LeBron James because Kobe has had more points in a single game, broken more records than LeBron, He has as more all-star appearances, and won more championships.
At just seventeen years old Kobe managed to become the second youngest player to enter professional league basketball in NBA history. He has played for the Laker’s his entire career, winning five NBA championships. He also became the youngest player in league history to reach 30,000 career points. Within four years of Kobe’s career he won his first champion ship ring, and helped the Lakers win the play offs three years in a row.

Kobe Bryant is among the top three who have scored the most points in NBA history. He is also known as the greatest Laker basketball player to ever play in the NBA. Kobe Bryant is known as one of the toughest players to play in the league. He has played through a broken wrist and a broken finger.
LeBron was eighteen years old when he entered the professional league. Which in my defense really isn’t that big of a deal because, there are a lot of NBA basketball players that have been in the league since they were eighteen years old. LeBron played for the cavilers for seven seasons during that time he was the NBA’s top scorers. He was selected all-star two times. He has won two NBA championships and four NBA MVPs. Seven years into LeBron’s career he won his first championship ring. LeBron James had eleven all-star appearances.
In 2010 LeBron made the decision to leave the Cleveland cavilers for the Miami Heats. They made it to the finals and lost six games to the Dallas
This argument is made on the fact that LeBron James has recently become the youngest player to score 20,000 points. Although I agree and congratulate LeBron on his great achievement, it does not make him better than Jordan. Despite LeBron reaching 20,000 points at a younger age, Michael Jordan was able to do it in fewer games. This phenomenon is possible because Michael Jordan went to college for three years whereas LeBron decided to go straight to the NBA out of high school. According to a blog done by the Chicago Bulls “It took Michael Jordan 106 less games to score 20,000 points than LeBron James” (Bulls Blog). No credit should be taken away from LeBron James because what he did to become the youngest player to score 20,000 points is phenomenal but it cannot be used as an argument to say that he is a better player than Michael Jordan because Michael Jordan scored 20,000 points faster than
Lebron James is a well known professional basketball player for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Lebron is often referred to as one of the greatest to ever pick up a basketball. Lebron makes money from playing basketball but a substantial amount of his income comes from sponsorships and endorsement deals with outside brands. This is where his social media plays a huge part of his life.

the NBA Draft in 2003 and was the fifth overall pick.. He won three championships.
Both of these athletes are exciting players to watch on the basketball court and have shown very dominant styles. However taking a look at the comparison of Jordan and Bryant requires more than just fans opinion and common assumptions. Most people would agree that Jordan is the much better player. Some of the younger fans may choose Kobe despite that they have never seen Michael really play. Over all both players bring unique athleticism and skills to the NBA, but the question still stands, who's
Michael Jordan in my opinion, was the greatest basketball player that ever lived. He holds more records than just about everyone that ever played this sport. Some of those records included: being the all-time leading scorer in the Chicago Bulls history, most seasons in which he lead the league in scoring, which was ten, and most consecutive seasons in which he lead the league in scoring, which was seven seasons.
There is a lot of talk about who is the greatest basketball player to ever set foot on a court. Born December 30, 1984, LeBron James is often in the mix of this conversation. Like most successful people today, LeBron had it rough growing having to move from apartment to apartment. His father Anthony McClelland, an ex-con, did not step up to the plate of fatherhood, leaving his mother Gloria James to raise him on her own. When LeBron was just a sobbing baby she bought him a miniature goal, not knowing she was creating one of the best ball players of all time.
He was drafted 3rd overall in 1984. (“Michael Jordan Fast Facts”). Jordan averaged .515% field goal .845% free throw 2 offensive rebound 4.5 defensive rebounds 5.9 assists .8 blocks 2.4steals 28.2 points.(“Michael Jordan Stats”). Jordan and the Bulls made the playoffs Jordan’s first year as a pro. He also got rookie of the year and went to the all-star game. Then his second season was cut short by an injury (Biography.com Editors). After his second year in 1986-87 Jordan was the second player to ever score more the 3000 points in a season. The year after that he was named the Most Valuable Player of the year. He got it 4 years in 1991, 1992, 1996 and, 1998. By the late 1980s the Chicago bulls were becoming more popular team because of Michael Jordan. In 1990 the Chicago bulls and Jordan won their first National basketball association championship by defeating the Lakers. While Jordan was dominating the NBA during 1980s and 1990s he started getting endorsements by Nike (Biography.com
Michael Jordan vs Lebron James Michael Jordan, in his prime, was thought of as one of the greatest basketball champions of all time. A shooting guard, standing at six-six, Jordan was able to out play anyone in his position. He started his career at the University of North Carolina, where he helped his team win a national championship. He then was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the 1984-85 season. While playing for the Bulls, Jordan received many awards such as, MVP, five championships, Olympic gold medals, slam dunk contests, and many more defensive and offensive awards.
The NBA is well known for the number of amazing professional athletes it has had over the years. Some of the most gifted and talented individuals come through the NBA and one of the better-known superstars is none other than Kobe Bryant. For years people have wondered what makes Bryant so successful. The main contributors that lead to Kobe Bryant’s success is his hard work and dedication, his mindset, his natural ability’s and talent, and the people that have helped him throughout his life. Kobe Bryant was very successful in the NBA because of the amount of hard work he has put in, the people in his life, his relentless determination and his god given natural abilities.
First, we will celebrate LeBron James’s accomplishments in the NBA. There are over 400 players in the NBA. These players are on the battlefield, fighting day after day because they all know only one can become the Most Valuable Player. LeBron James rose above all, claiming the MVP award, not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 times. Not only is LeBron James an MVP, but he is also a 13-time All-Star player. LeBron James garnered enough votes from the fans, the players, and the media to become an All-Star like a presidential candidate getting enough votes from the voters to become the President.
Kobe Bryant has had quite a substantial effect on the NBA throughout his illustrious career .He came into the league as a renowned high school player and thanks to him being drafted by a big franchise in a big city (Los Angeles Lakers) and having a superstar often compared to superman to mentor him (Shaquille O’Neal) Kobe would eventually evolve into a superstar forever remembered in NBA history due to his prolific scoring, competitive spirit and ability to perform under pressure. There is no denying Kobe’s status as a legend however, simply put, LeBron has achieved as much Kobe did when he was Lebron’s current age (Lebron is six years younger) and he excelled where Kobe failed to succeed. LeBron didn’t have a mentor to back him up, he didn’t have a big market to support him financially, but that didn’t stop him from bringing his mediocre teams and himself to greatness. Kobe may be a fierce competitor however, he achieved this feat at the expense of his teammates respect for him while LeBron on the other hand, is competitive while still being a great teammate. To conclude, due to the fact LeBron paralleled Kobe’s strength and exceeded where Kobe was weak , he is a more impactful player of this era than Kobe Bryant
However, he has it all. Kobe Bryant is and always will be an NBA legend. He has had and still does have countless fans, and possesses a level of skill which very few could even match. However, despite all of these feats he has achieved and all of the money he has managed to earn, his sexual assault case in 2003 taints this famous star’s record.
He is one of the greatest NBA players of all time, and he also has built, and will continue to build, a great legacy off the court. He truly is amazing, there are no words to describe him. He has inspired many to rise up and be like him. He, like everyone, is part hero and part villain. He is the Black Mamba, Kobe Bryant.
There are similarities and differences when it comes to these two icons childhood. Black Mamba and King James both started at an early age with being interested in basketball. They both played basketball on their high school basketball teams scoring immensely and leading their teams to victory and after high school went straight to the NBA Draft. Kobe Bryant and LeBron James both are married to two beautiful women and they also have two children. The only difference about their children is that Kobe has two girls and LeBron has two boys. Finally, their NBA career is a tremendous difference when it comes to peers. Kobe has accomplished more because he is older but LeBron has also accomplished quite a bit for his age.
