Describe the relationship between Miss Kinnian and Charlie. Did their relationship change throughout the story? (5 points) The relationship between Charlie and Miss Kinnian start off as teacher and student. Throughout the story, the relationship changes on Charlie’s side as he starts developing feelings for Miss Kinnian. As stated in the story on page 234 by Charlie, “I'm in love with Miss Kinnian”. However, the relationship didn't appear to change too much on Miss Kinnian’s side, it was just that she was worried for him and I think she kind of loved him as a son in a way. He is happy that he got to experience being smart even for the short time that he was. It was stated in the story, “If you ever reed this Miss Kinnian dont be sorry for me Im glad I got a second chanse to be smart becaus I lerned a lot of things that I never even new were in this world and Im grateful that I saw it all for a littel bit.” In the beginning of the story, he was kind of nervous about getting smart, but at the end, he was just happy that he got to be smart for a while. Why do you think Charlie put Flowers on Algernon’s grave? Explain. (5 points) I think he put flowers on Algernon’s grave because he was sad about his death and Algernon was Charlie's friend. Charlie says in the story about Algernon, “I think Ill be frends with Algernon.” Compare and contrast Algernon and Charlie. How are they different? How are they alike?
