Living conditions, which are very poor in Turkey, affect the contentment of the people significantly. Hence, many women who have any children have to work to help family budget and for live in more comfort. Today, working outside is a fashion for women it gives women an economic liberty and respect. That is good for them however, from the side of many young children that is bad because they have to go kindergartens when their mothers go to work. Nowadays, the number of children who go to kindergartens is increasing rapidly. Unfortunately, many of them are growing up without their mother’s love. So sending children to kindergartens causes some problems which are so important like missing or hating mother and home, being a stressful person in early ages and so on.
The major cause of hating mother is spending all childhood in nurseries. Today, we can see in news many teenagers are killing their mothers due to lack of mothers’ love. Their mothers are a normal person for them however we cannot deny that mothers are holly existences for us. So if there is not a necessity, women should not work outside or else, they should look after their children after the work.
The other equally significant point is being a stressful person in the future life. Many scientists believe that living in a routine reason for stress. Moreover, in kindergarten children are getting used to a routine life. Therefore these young children meet stress in their early ages and they will more stressful people in their future lives because in nursery there is a hard and well disciplined education.
In contrast to these many people claim that kindergartens make children more social in the society. However these claimants do not know that kindergartens cannot give a real parent’s love so if children do not have real love, they will not love their children so this will continue and love between children and parents will be end.
If we had a tool that would improve our children's performance in school and social settings, lower the crime rate, lower teenage pregnancy, and save taxpayers' money, who wouldn't want to use it? Preschool is that tool, but few people pay attention to or care about preschool's potential benefits. For many parents, preschool is a valuable asset, providing their children with social play, fun, and an experience within a school-like setting. Children in preschool learn social skills like respect for authority, listening, and sharing; they also benefit from interaction with peers, which results in improved language and relational skills. Unfortunately, many parents simply cannot afford the expensive cost of private preschools, and there are few other options. Children are valuable as the future of the country, but the government has largely ignored them. Whether at the federal or state level, the government needs to create a free preschool available to all families.
Parenting has been a long practice that desires and demands unconditional sacrifices. Sacrifice is something that makes motherhood worthwhile. The mother-child relationship can be a standout amongst the most convoluted, and fulfilling, of all connections. Women are fuel by self-sacrifice and guilt - but everyone is the better for it. Their youngsters, who feel adored; whatever is left of us, who are saved disagreeable experiences with adolescents raised without affection or warmth; and mothers most importantly. For, in relinquishing, a mother feels strong and liberal; and in guild she finds the motivation to right wrong.
Preschool isn't just a place for parents to drop off their children while they are at work for the day. It is in preschool where children learn the necessary skills needed to succeed in school and in life. With high-quality preschools and qualified teachers the possibilities are endless. It's not only the children who reap the benefits of Early Childhood Education; their parents, fellow peers, and even society feel the positive effects of quality preschool programs. Children enrolled in quality preschool programs are more likely to succeed academically and socially when they are older.
The topic of this paper is the debate of whether or not maternal employment has any effect on infant development. Research on this described topic has recently become popular due to the rise of working mothers over the past several decades. Their increasing numbers in the workplace and decreasing numbers as stay at home moms are creating a number of different issues to be studied. The effects of maternal employment are determined by a number of factors that include, the mother’s job satisfaction and drive, amount of work, and the mother’s opinion of quality versus quantity time with children. The main concept at hand here is the importance of an attachment in the first few years as being vital to a child’s later development. One side of the argument backs up this fact saying that it is important for a child to have their mother home with them during this period of development. The other side argues that they are finding that it may be more beneficial for the child to be placed in some form of nontraditional care environment. This paper will examine these different effects on infant development whether they are positive or negative. There are two sides to this argument as expected for any issue in debate. I will discuss these two sides by using the arguments of researchers that have studied this topic and written articles on their opposing feelings on maternal employment. I will summarize separately these two researchers’ different views along with their findings.
This article is about social-emotional learning and how it can potentially benefit kindergarten students. This study’s purpose was to consider kindergarten when promoting social and emotional learning in schools. Since relatively few studies have been conducted in the kindergarten classroom, this study examines the effects of the Strong Start curriculum for kindergarteners in this setting. This curriculum tests the competence of sixty-seven kindergarteners in both social and emotional areas. This curriculum consists of ten lessons that were taught by four different teachers in four different classrooms. In the end, the results indicate that students increase their social skills, and the curriculum decreases their natural instinct of internalizing behaviors.
From the very beginning of history, women were portrayed to be insignificant in comparison to men in society. A woman 's purpose was deemed by men to be housewives, bear children and take care of the household chores. Even so, that at a young age girls were being taught the chores they must do and must continue through to adulthood. This ideal that the woman’s duty was to take charge of household chores was then passed through generations, even til this day. However, this ideology depends on the culture and the generation mothers were brought up in and what they decide to teach their daughters about such roles. After women were given the opportunity to get an education and treated as equals, society’s beliefs undertook a turning point on women’s roles in society. Yet, there still seems to be a question amongst women in search of self identity and expectations from parents.
When growing up, every child requires the love of his or her parents, which will help in nurturing them towards growth. Consequently, this brings about the in-depth desire for mothering with the aim of providing children with the motherly love that they may expect from life. Mothering is one of the greatest gifts within any given society, as it creates an opportunity where one is able to offer guidance to her young ones with the aim of nurturing them. In addition, mothering also creates a rare opportunity for mothers to create that bond that exists between mothers and their children that will help in maintaining a platform for effective growth and development. Although mothering may bring about a wide range
Children that attend preschool are able to develop these much-needed skills in a nurturing environment. Preschools offer structured and unstructured ways to teach preschoolers. The goal of a preschool is to prepare young children for elementary school. Preschools have many developmental milestones for the children. Cognitive milestones for 4 year olds include ability to understand counting and numbering, recognize colors, recall names, following commands and engaging in imaginative play. Other goals for children are to interact and get along with each other, learn concepts of self-control and self-respect and express their thoughts. Apart from short-term benefits, there are many long-term benefits of preschools. Until recently, critics questioned the benefits of preschools and Head Start programs in long run. Initial studies performed on National Head Start Impact found that students of preschools lose their edge by 3rd grade. This so-called “fade-out” effect created a perception that there were no long lasting benefits of preschools. However, recent studies have confirmed preschoolers fearing well in the long run. (Chandler) The long-term benefits of quality preschool programs can be noticed even after high school and
...iders. This can pose as a serious problem as these children grow up to be dependent adults. I think that mothers should look after their young children. Since most of the development of a child’s mind happens during the earlier years of its life, mothers should not be replaced by maids or nannies during the initial years of the child’s life. Another alternative for working mothers would be that they should compensate for the lost moments by spending more time with her child after work. This way the mother can help in the preservation of the Emarati culture and society. Although values are constantly changing, there are some customs and traditions that have to be preserved. I believe that even the younger generation should play their part in understanding the importance of protecting their traditions so that they are not eradicated for future generations to follow.
Families are the foundation of the society. The main function of the family is having and raising children. Having children not only expands families, it also strengthens and renews society. Parents’ greatest responsibility to society is socialization and well-being of children. It provides continuation and supports health of society. All members of the families are interdependent. As a result, mother’s choice to be employed directly affects ability of the family to insure well-being of children. There are several ways why and how maternal employment might influence children. Child well-being is a result of time and money investments made by parents. Money is needed to purchase items that are necessary for healthy development, such as school, medical care, educational toys, etc. Time investments in children can be quantitative - the amounts of time spent with children, and qualitative - what parents do with their children. Maternal employment is related to each of these investments in children.
Mothers have a very big responsibility. They have a lot of big decisions to make. Some decisions are harder and more important than others are. For instance, one of the big decisions a mother must make is whether to stay home with her children or to go back to work. In this paper, I will give reasons why a mother should consider staying home with her children during their early years of childhood.

Working mothers try their best to balance between families and work. Mothers who work outside are happier, have a better level of health and energy, as compared to stay at home mothers. Working mothers are dynamic multi-taskers and great managers. The most important reason that mothers should work is money. Whether a mother is single or married, in order to survive in a fluctuating economy the family needs money. Mothers can never see their family depriving of basic needs. Another reason could be if a mother is earning more than a father then it's wise to continue the job. Also when both mother and father work, two incomes are coming into the house. Because of that family can enjoy the luxuries, go on vacations and fulfill children demands. A working mother is financially independent. If a husband dies or divorces her, she will have no...
Children go into kindergarten extremely confused and frightened. For most children it is their first time being away from their parents and or guardian for a long period of time. Children have to take authority from another adult and might find it hard to understand why they aren’t the center of attention anymore. Preschool has a way of easing that challenge that kids go through with such a major change occurring in their lives. Preschools programs understand the particular ways that a young child would act in this situation and how to provide them with the best help getting them through it. The teachers help the sadness the children are facing by greeting them with open arms and excitement. Preschool allows for major changes to take place within the comfort of the classroom, to prepare them for their many more years of school to
In the past it was culturally accepted that a woman should not work or leave the house, especially when she had a child. As a mother, they had to stay home to take care of the house and the infant. Now a days woman are so busy with work, school, and social activities that they do not have time to take care of their family which is one of the most important issues in marriage and parenthood. In today’s life divorce is common among people which are a result of lacking communication and time. Same reasons can be dedicated to children when their parents do not put time and effort to educate them. Many problems such as: lack of self-confidence, feeling insecure, not being in control and many more can occur later on when a child is grown up and is ready to step in the society. Parents should both together and separately put time for their children because the child learns some of the important life lessons from his or her mother such as: kindness, patient, and love, and some from his or her father like: hard work, staying strong, and maturity, and also learning the value of a family from both. If these needs are not fulfilled by parents the children spend their time with watching TVs and playing video games to stay away from their parents’ ignorance and also to gain the feeling of being a part of something. In order to have a better child in the future, parents should educate their children more with teaching them the positive influences such: family time, respect, and positive attitudes, so their child would not get his needs from other uneducated places such as: TV, video games, and wrong environments. What are the negative aspects of not educating the children and how will they react to it in the future?
