It is quite evident that Kimberly-Clark prides itself in being proactive for its customers. In the report there are several programs that Kimberly-Clark participates in to enhance the communities in which they operate. For example, they address many needs of the community through, annual monetary donations ranging over $20 million dollars, donations to diaper banks, funding to cancer treatment programs, hospital renovations, small business capital incentives, medical research and development, and health and hygiene education (Building on Our Vision for a Sustainable Future, 2010). They have begun to implement numerous programs that have assisted with better connections to the public such as donations and community improvement programs. Additionally, in the U.S. and Europe, Kimberly-Clark worked side by side with large retailers and developed a new parent program for its infant and child hygiene products. International corporate meetings with strategic retailers in both North America, and Europe have fostered open working relationships and allowed Kimberly-Clark to obtain insights and support for numerous programs ranging from new product lines to research and development (Mizera, 2013). Finally, Kimberly-Clark receives the majority of its revenue through sales of feminine hygiene products, diapers, wipes, toilet and tissue paper, paper towels, and several other tissue paper products. These relationship developments have allowed Kimberly Clark to conduct international business in over 150 countries (Mizera, 2013).
