Upon meeting someone, and after the usual introduction, has there ever been a thing, maybe a trait they possessed, that seemed to stick out? If the trait that was visible in them was one of a shy, timid nature, then that person was probably not Kianna Xue. She is a very outgoing person, eager to speak her mind and express her soul. Always trying to absolutely love life, she accepts who she is and embraces it. Her most prominent trait is creativity, followed by her being goal-oriented as well as being indecisive. She is a person of many qualities, as she is a person of many flaws, but a select few definitely stand out. Creativity is a very significant part of who she is. It always has been, and always will be. Kianna is a very artistically-inclined person, for she enjoys dance, music, art, and design. When she was about 7 years old, she constructed a table-top pinball machine. Using cardboard, tape, and whatever could be found lying around the house, she finished it before her mother woke up that morning. It was a last-minute gift for her mother’s birthday, and though it did not work...
Her curiosity is also to be admired as she asked the traditional artist questions of, ? what will happen if I want to do or make this, but I am not sure how, what do I do next?? (Maloof 28). It has been said that ten percent of true artist endeavors are inspiration, and ninety percent are perspiration. In Maria?s case that surely holds true. A great artist is always recognized in his or her ability to see in different ways than the rest of the world and then translate that vision into a form for others to see and understand. It is this idea that defines an artist.
Inspiration comes from many forms; it comes from friends, family, music, television, and even strangers. Inspiration can come at one subtlety or it can hit you like a bus. Professional, amateur, or even a novice can be inspired to make something. No matter what, an artist needs inspiration in order to create something out of nothing or in order to help finish an already existing art work. Here the inspiration from Mariko Mori will be conveyed, to know what helps give her inspiration that motivates her to do the art work that she does. Whether she herself is doing the performance or it is just a sculpture in a gallery, her works are unique, just like a finger print. What gave her the inspiration on two of her works;
Richard Florida also goes on to say that creativity is energy-absorbing, tiring work. To come to think of it, it can be very laborious. My husband likes to design clothing, and sometimes he stares into space for hours daydreaming. Suddenly, he’d sprint into the bedroom, grab his notebook and start drawing. He could eat up a whole pencil, eraser and all, for that one drawing. Beads of sweat would form on his brow, and the nerve in the middle of his forehead would protrude. And I’d know to keep our daughter away and leave him at peace. You see, I think my husband is creative. He’s got a great sense of humor, and he’s an artist.
...I maintain that creativity is accessible to everyone; self expression, inspiration, and artistic vision are in the mind of every individual.
Character is often the setting stone on what a person is judged upon. For someone to have character, they must noticeably stand out, and do extraordinary tasks that a normal student would not usually do. From school activities to sports clubs, I myself carry unique characteristics that set me apart from other students.
Maxine Kumin is considered one of the best Jewish American poets of her time. She has won a Pulitzer Prize in 1973 for her work in Up Country. She has been compared to Anne Sexton, who was a fellow American confessionalist poet. Confessionalist poets tend to focus their poetry on personal matters that took place in their lives. For example, Kumin discusses the inner lives of her characters in her personal poems. She is considered a naturalist feminist because she gives her utmost importance to ecological things, such as plants, animals, the overall environment surrounding her. Kumin "asserts that her connection with animals is essential to her work as a poet, and later implies that through her association with them she has discovered a creatural self that is deeper and better than the human self" (Lyman, 23). To some she is not only ecological, but and ecological feminist. Unlike other confessionalist poets who wrote mainly about despair and depression, Kumin focuses her writing on happier things, such as family life, farming, subjects of life and nature, and loss. Her first published writings included Connecting the Dots, Nurture, Looking for Luck, Up Country: Poems of New England, The Long Approach, and House, Bridge, and Fountain Gate. She has been recognized for her tremendous work and the attention that she drew from women in the American society. Critics have even compared her work to Henry David Thoreau and Robert Frost. Kumin became an important figure in the feminist literary society.
... (e.g. Nakkula, Toshalis, 2006). The research regarding hipster culture compounds many of Erikson’s theories about identity development, which continue to evolve and mature throughout the course of life, but also emphasizes the importance on an adolescent formation of identity development (during the primary years of an student artist’s most intense training). Overall, the research confirms the belief that creative adolescents develop identities based on their specific choices, and who they choose to be. Although genetic factors play some role in artfulness, creativity is a skilled that is continually honed and refined — much like any other ability in life. The artistic identity is one that is carefully composed and considered, and continually cultivated throughout the course of a lifetime, though this identity formation takes place from a young age in adolescence.
... what games to play, when with her younger siblings. She has shown industry by adapting to and excelling in calligraphy. She has gotten a boost of confidence because she receives praise for her work. She likes to be in group settings and interacts well with other children. The cause of which is because of her family, and her other siblings. By growing up with many sibling, she has learned to interact and coexist with others, this is essential in everyday society. It is also because she has been able to succeed in prior stages that she can do so well within her peer group. Because if you do not learn to trust you cannot be part of a group. If you do not have the initiative, and industry you will not be noticed, and likely not involved in society because of drive, and other things. It is because of a combination of all these things that my subject is who she is today.

Creativity and imagination are undoubtedly at the top of the life. This trait is helpful as when doing projects in class and beyond that require creativity, I feel right at home. Recently in English class, we had to complete a project on allusions and their specific meanings. I found this to be quite intriguing because I was able to decorate the project and made it personal to me. This will help me in maintaining independence because when I get to college or eventually enter the workforce, I will more than likely have to do certain projects which require my creativity. Additionally, I enjoy creating art, learning more about it, and to make things that I feel express who I am as a person. Last year, I finally got to be in an actual art class; moreover, I got to create art about what I wanted and not do it for something or someone else. I know that this will help me in life, because if I’m doing something for me and not for someone else, I will feel more passionate about it which will help further my

Maxine Kumin Maxine Kumin, who experienced many different views of the world through travel, feels the most comfortable in New Hampshire, her rural home. In any area that she travels, she always makes a similarity to her home, as expressed in her poems. In her poem, “The Long Approach”, she is driving in her Saab hatchback from Scranton to her farm in New Hampshire. She also discusses her plane ride back from Orlando to New Hampshire the week before. Throughout the poem she makes references back to the animals she cares for and comes in contact with on the farm.
Characterization of a human being has always two sides: the first one concerns one´s appearance, the other deals with one´s inner qualities. However, there is a slight difference in describing of a female and a male personality: outer characteristic is much more detailed when describing a female. But it is necessary to cover with both these issues when discussing the personality of a female.
Although there may not be an extremely extensive amount of knowledge about the Empress Dowager Cixi, she is often considered one of the most powerful women in history. She ruled for almost fifty years, maintaining and expanding her own power. During her ‘behind the curtain’ reign, she made all decisions and always had the final say. Though she was very sharp and understood and executed politics well, she was (what some might consider today) corrupt. She was insistent on keeping her power in the Qing dynasty, to the point of (being suspected of) killing others. Though this seems despotic, recent reports say that she was just like any other ruler, and was blamed for events that would also have occurred under any other’s rule. Perhaps the saying she was in the wrong place at the wrong time could be applicable. Why does she get so much blame when many of the other emperors from other dynasties had similar faults (and even larger ones – their whole dynasties fell, Cixi helped perpetuate the Qing dynasty until her death – as tumultuous as it may have been)? One could argue that it was because she did not have the Mandate of Heaven since she was not traditionally supposed to have any power; or, because she was a woman.
