Cancer victims that receive chemotherapy and loose their hair often develop a sense of embarrassment due to their lack of hair, pushing them into being afraid of facing the rest of the world. The girl then spots fireworks, which are bursting from Katy Perry, outside of a window. This encourages her to step outside of the hospital to reveal herself despite the fact that she is bald, opposing to being isolated from the world. The kairos of this video is very important to Stapleton, not only was this video a huge success in the music industry, but it was Stapleton’s very first music video ever released. Having such a hard pressed subject as his first video, brings kairos into a new light, as the video had great success. Kairos, meaning timing, could not be more appropriate for this song, as the timing of the song and video was able to blast Stapleton into the country music history books, as being not only an amazing singer, but being someone who is unafraid to take risks and bring country music back to its roots. Many things in this video make an audience feel cheerful, the happiness of the couple in the beginning and seeing their life begin to unfold. Many things in the video make the audience sorrowful, the many attempts of suicide and the heartbreak when the battle is lost. Many scenes in the video can make the audience feel a sense of fight, the light at the end of every bad scene and the unwavering faith of the man, through every situation that was thrown his way. Through the use of pathos, this video was able to make its audience of all different people, relate and connect with the

The title of this TED Talk is "Teach Girls Bravery, Not Perfection", and it was given in 2016 by Reshma Saujani. This video would be good for counselors to share with parents, educators, and classrooms of children to encourage girls to participate in gifted programs. While she speaks specifically to her work in the STEM field, her message is for girls to dream big regardless of their interests, and to not just play it safe their whole lives. Saujani begins with an anecdote about her leap of faith to run for Congress; she didn't win, in fact, she only received nineteen percent of the votes, but she believes her true failure is that this was the first time in 33 years that she bravely took a chance. She continues to say that girls are raised

Eight girls are standing in line at a movie theater. All smiling in a carefree manner that could be expected of any all American teenage girl. However, statistics say that two of these girls bare scars on their bodies that our society would deem, “self-inflicted”. The truth of the matter is, these two girls are wounded by the immense weight of our cultures requirements for beauty. Requirements that can potentially be explained by science, but neither the way in which our society allows itself to be controlled by such mundane fancies nor the effect on the people it oppresses is by any means justified.
