A five-year-old girl who is unable to swim is drowning in a pool, where the depth is ten feet. She is incapable of communicating for help and continuously gulps copious amounts of water while kicking her legs and flinging her arms frantically. A young boy who is learning how to swim notices her desperate need for a rescue, but is too hesitant to do anything due to his fear of deep water. He then realizes that he does not want a young girl to die just because no one was able to come to her rescue, and builds up the courage to enter the deep end of the pool. He dives in just in time to rescue the drowning soul and conquers his fear of deep water, all because of courage. There is a scene in the video that reveals a young, female cancer victim sitting on her hospital bed watching television. Since she is receiving chemotherapy for treatment, she is deprived of hair and becomes envious and doleful when she sees a woman in the television screen spinning and flipping her blonde locks of hair. Cancer victims that receive chemotherapy and loose their hair often develop a sense of embarrassment due to their lack of hair, pushing them into being afraid of facing the rest of the world. The girl then spots fireworks, which are bursting from Katy Perry, outside of a window. This encourages her to step outside of the hospital to reveal herself despite the fact that she is bald, opposing to being isolated from the world. The firework itself symbolizes courage, and igniting it symbolizes building up that courage.
