Imagine being pregnant at a young age or knowing someone that is. Many thoughts that are positive and negative come to your mind. In 2007, a low budget film directed by Jason Reitman and written by Diablo Cody titled Juno is about a normal teenage girl played by (Ellen Page) who becomes pregnant after having intercourse with her best friend Bleeker played by Michael (Cera) and she makes up her mind to have the baby and to give up the baby for adoption. This film started off as an independent film occurrence but it soon grew into a motion picture that captured the hearts and minds of millions of viewers. It portrays how Juno’s attitude is unexpectedly positive despite the problem she is faced with as a teenage girl that is pregnant and how
Juno calls and tell them that she wants an abortion. She goes to the clinic and when she gets there a girl she knows is standing outside of the clinic as a protestor against abortions. Juno goes into the clinic and begins to fill out her abortion papers and there is a lot of girls in the clinic’s waiting room doing a lot nervous things. Because all this is going on Juno began to think. She runs out of the clinic and the protestor smiles at her. “God appreciates this miracle” (The daily Mail). Any young woman would have had second thoughts about this decision
Throughout the movie Mark the adoptive father became very close with Juno, conversations with her was very awkward, and people would probably say he was harassing or even falling in love. Juno goes over to show Mark and Vanessa the ultrasound picture of the baby, but it’s just Mark there. He and Juno went upstairs to listen to music, mark begins to dance with Juno which is not normal for an older man to be dancing with a young girl. Vanessa and Juno’s relationship was a mother to mother one. At the mall, Vanessa talks to the baby and Juno realize she made a good choose for her baby. Later on in the film Mark tells Vanessa that he doesn’t want to be a father as Juno witness this she doesn’t know what to do her mind wonders, but she still chooses to give the baby to Vanessa who is now a single
