I am honored to be recognized as one of the students to be considered for the National Junior Honor Society. I believe that this organization has done great things for the community and I would like to help in doing so. It has been my goal all year to become National Junior Honor Society member, and now I am granted the chance to achieve my yearlong goal. One of the standards of the National Junior Honor Society is leadership. Members are not only expected to show great leadership skills to improve the community, but to be a role model, and to set a good example for his or her peers and others around them. As I began to walk to the stage to receive my certificate for making the AB honor roll, my knees begin to wobble. I tone out the cheers and the voice of my mom yelling my name. I wipe my sweaty palms on my jeans as I came closer to stairs. Each step I took, I continue to ask myself why, today of all days, I forget to bring my jacket.
I am writing to inform you of my possible contributions to the National Honor Society and my interest in becoming a member. I view myself as a strong minded individual with a strong incentive to learn. Acquiring the ability to learn fast and adapt quickly has enabled me to be a part of a wide range of organizations. My participation and loyalty to the NHS could result in a great strive forward. I could provide more ideas of services to benefit the school and our community. I would also devote a large portion of my free time to the organization and assist in any way possible. Whether that means coming in early in the morning or staying late after school, I would do any means necessary to show my commitment.
I would like to begin with saying that I am honored to be invited into the National Honors Society. I am continually setting high standards for myself and to join a group of like minded people would be a very satisfying reward. I consider this invitation for application an incredible opportunity for forward advancement in my scholarly journey. So, to dive right into why I would like to join this honored society, I will briefly expound on my character and traits for you.
Being proud of something can have many different meanings to people, but to me, it means to be honored and to be glad that something happened. I am proud about many things in my life but one thing I am extremely proud of is my induction into the NJHS. NJHS stands for National Junior Honor Society.
I’m so happy to be given the opportunity to join National Junior Honor Society(NJHS). I would love to be a member. I think it is important for kids to be involved in the community. Also, myself personally it would be an honor to be a face for our school.
It is a tremendous honor to be considered for membership in the most prestigious Honor Society available at Wapato High School. It is even more grand to be able to work towards enrollment in the Society side by side with such an astoundingly gifted group of young men and women. I am only being considered for potential membership in the National Honors Society because I have demonstrated an exemplary academic attitude, and have proven this through the grades I have attained during the years I have spent in the Wapato School District and the fondness amongst my teachers I have achieved. Every day I work tremendously hard to be noticed by both other scholars and my teachers. I was very excited when I heard that I had been invited into National Junior Honors Society. The first time I heard of NJHS, it instantly became a goal of mine. When my older sister left for college I was very sad, so I think that this is a way for me to keep a part of her. I have always been that little girl no one understood, because I’m always very excited to learn and get back to school after summer break. I’m very happy to see that I’ve been invited, but this is why I should be accepted.
The National Honor Society is a very prestigious organization that I would love to be a part of. It was an honor to be nominated as a candidate. I am currently a sophomore in high school, and I have always wanted to be a member of the National Honor Society. As I look back over the years and think of the times I have attended the ceremonies and saw all the awards the members received, I recall saying to myself “That’s going to be me one day.”. I asked my teachers about all the requirements that had to be met to be a National Honor Society member and I made it my main goal to meet each and every one.
To be in the National Junior Honor Society, one must have good citizenship and character. I seek to be a part of this society because it is a great honor and shows not only to others, but also to myself, how hard I have worked throughout my years at Northvale Public School. I take part in school activities and have helped my teachers, so that my classmates and myself can have a better learning experience. During Brain Busters meets, there are times that I am in charge of the group I am in and although it is a lot of responsibility, I know that my team depends on me to help them.
When I think of NHS, leadership, character, community, and role modeling are all things that come to mind. Being a part of the National Honors Society will help me do just that. I have worked hard for outstanding grades, citizenship, and becoming a leader and role model for other classmates. That is why I believe I deserve a spot in the National Honor Society community.
National Junior Honor Society as a nation premier organization started to recognize outstanding middle-level students. NJHS is a way to honor students who have demonstrated an extraordinary amount of excellence in the areas of the five pillars which are, scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. This organization that was started in 1929 is a great opportunity for me to show my family and teachers how hard I work to get this far. I am deeply honored to be among the exemplary student who are being considered for this program. This organization the so many great things in society, and knowing that I could potentially be a part of it and play a part in futuring the impression that the organization has already made. I am a determined student, and will do anything to do my absolute best even when something hard is thrown my way. I have always hoped to be a part of something big like National Junior Honor Society, and I hope that this will be my chance to be a part of something big. In my essay I have provided several reasons why you should consider me being on National Junior Honors Society.
