This paper is to inform the reader on my specific personality type and how the different characteristics of it can affect my work life. The results from the Jung Typology Test are given showing I have a protector or idealist type of personality. The ability to make judgment calls and analyze or diagnose complex situations is one of Katz’s important management skills (Robbins and Judge). This is important in the mental health field as often we deal with determining diagnosis or the correct treatment plan for a client that could potentially save or improve their functionality of life. “Where there is no guidance the people fall, But in abundance of counselors there is victory” (Proverbs 11:14, ESV).
