“Journey to Dialogic Moments”

Through concepts and principles which we studied in the “dialogic communication studies”, “Dialogue” is a special form of communication that creates positive results for individuals, group, organization and communities. This concept has become a central of various theoretical perspectives in humanity and social sciences studies by looking at social relation and interaction as dialogue. In this essay I want to outline some dialogue schools related to my project which is about analyzing social media and face to face interaction, present in case of various types of communication. In my project, The main theory in use is the uses and gratifications theory but accompanied by the dramaturgy theory, the spiral of silence theory, the social distance theory and the politeness theory whereas the fieldwork are on the basis of personal interviews with the students. In the following parts regarding to my project, I want to know, how I can reformulate my project using dialogic communication theory. What theory/theories of dialogue could I use as my theoretical framework? How can I design the project along collaborative, dialogic lines? As a matter of fact, from the first time, A the beginning of our course, a new perspective opened in front of my eyes towards how could I apply dialogic communication theory to my project work? Every seconds of ongoing further on this theory, I think about specific moments of our interviews as a valuable data. Through opening this vision, I could see special points that are related to various parts of dialogic theory, such as experience of different moments of dialogue, top-down and bottom-up of power relation. By accessing to this valuable knowledge, if I want to answer this question, could I analyses the commu... ... middle of paper ... ...see. (Kvale, p. 488) In conclusion, “Dialogue” is the fundamental feature related to our project and our life. But, the direction of research to find the answers for our questions require further ongoing through different aspects of our project. However, by focusing on reforming our interviews strategies and analyzing our interviews, which is due to focus group and individual interviews, by using dialogic theories and approaches, it is possible to generate new knowledge regarding to different aspects of dialogic communication, identity, multiculturalism senses approaches, power, centrifugal or centripetal movements to create facilitates from and moreover phases. By considering to the different aspects of dialogic communication, we try to put our effort on gathering the different pieces of puzzle on dialogic moments in real life due to the online forum interactions.
