“The brilliance of a man does not show, until he can show truth through pain and darkness. The issue with generation gaps is the information lapse.” Jordan Peele, Actor, Comedian, Producer, Writer, and Director, has kicked down the fourth wall of life and exposed it for what it is. A game. Peele, graduated from Sarah Lawrence College. He dropped out after two years, to form the alliance we know of today, Key and Peele. The comedy series ran from 2012-2015 and had ratings and some hilarious skits and jokes. Peele broke out of his comfort zone to begin his debut as director with the premiere of 2017’s blockbuster hit, Get Out. Audience and critics were curious about the debut film directed by Jordan Peele. The movie’s content weighed heavy with the current generation and some of the older generation. Get Out, depicts and exposes racist and stereotypical america, that we live in today. The movie is more of an art and message than entertainment and cheeky. The story of the movie is A black man (Chris) is visiting his white girlfriend's parents for the first. He then, proceeds down a spiral in which his mental survival relies on his wit and his ability to be alert and stay woke. The issue is not white vs black. The issue is rich racist white people who feel as though the world needs to be of one race...one superior race. That race is shown as white. All through life we see all races struggle, but nevertheless, racism and discrimination separates us and prevents us from ever uniting and taking on the real problems, like world hunger, cures for diseases, and even homelessness.
