On November 22, 1963 in Dealey Plaza in the state of Texas Kennedy was shot and died later that day. According to the Warren Commission Lee Harvey Oswald is responsible for the death of John F. Kennedy. Many people believe that Kennedy's assassination was part of a conspiracy theory. The country of Cuba is responsible for the death of the United States president John F Kennedy. They were not allies and Oswald was a good shooter with connections to Cuba. Cuba and the United States had been enemies for a while. The United States had already attempted to kill their leader Fidel Castro. The United States was close to Cuba so they didn’t want to attack immediately they wanted a well planned attack that wouldn't lead directly to them. The Bay Of Pigs was an event in 1961 where the United States got Cuban exiles ready to invade and try to kill their leader Fidel Castro. Oswald had attempted suicide in the Soviet Union because he was told he needed to leave because his Visa has ran out. This would have brought public attention to Oswald and this could have been how Cuba chose him because he had done things to get noticed. Cuba also knew that Oswald had good aim after spending time in the military. He had also lied to get out of the military so this could be a potential characteristic of the assassin because he wasn’t afraid to betray the United States. According to Swanson in The President Has Been Shot, Oswald had no long term obsession with Kennedy and didn’t brag about the fact that he would shoot him. A reason for this could have been that he was paid by Cuba to assassinate the president of the United States to try and weaken the country that had tried to take over their
