John Abbot College Honours Science Letter of Intent
The dilemma associated with CEGEP choice is not one I experienced, as I know that the program suited for my objectives is John Abbott’s Honours Science Program. This being a priceless opportunity, I would appreciate my application being considered.
Since my youth, my curiosity correlated with my scientific endeavours. My biggest academic interests are Science and Mathematics, because the complexity of concepts intrigue and challenge me. I ask numerous questions, aiming to completely grasp notions, both on class material and on extra research done independently. The profession of medical doctor appeals to me for those reasons. My future plan includes an education at McGill University, in the M.D/M.B.A program. Being a physician with leadership training will allow me to accomplish my lifelong dream managing a team of doctors. The human body is a mechanism combining all the scientific fields (biochemistry, biophysics, etc.) My creativity can be utilized to create innovative, and revolutionary technologies, improving the flight experience. Therefore, another option is becoming an Aerospace Engineer, after studying at the McGill Institute for Aerospace Engineering.
The Honours Science Program expands on subjects, aiding me on my quest for knowledge. Working alongside a likeminded group of extremely motivated students will help me give the best of myself. I am ambitious and manage my time wisely, therefore the challenging work-load appeals to me. My goal-oriented self will benefit from working with inspiring people and watching weekly speakers. and I strive to learn as much as possible, so the fast-paced learning environment interests
