Excerpt from "I Have Lived in the Monster" Robert Ressler: So you were aroused at just the physique? Dahmer: The internal organs. Jeffrey Dahmer was creating very disgusting acts to men some were even under the age of sixteen. He would pick them up and take them back to his house to take “pictures”. He would then give them alcohol that he drugged. The victims could not even speak clearly so there for they could not protect themselves from Dahmer. Dahmer killed a variety of people from different racial backgrounds. He also practiced necrophilia and cannibalism.
Dahmer was born on May 21, 1960; he was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He was a very happy child until the age of six. He had a double hernia surgery which caused him to become distant and interested in what normal people would think was weird. After the surgery his little brother was brought into the world, which causes Dahmer to not have much self assurance. His father then found another occupation, which was in another state. The family packed up and moved to Ohio which was worse for Jeffrey, by his teenage years he was distant, did not have friends, and was not social. Dahmer did not have any hobbies, deceased animals became very appealing. He became an alcoholic in high school it even carried on after high school.
After high school his father made him join the military, which later he was discharged for being an alcoholic. He then moved in his parents’ house which he lived in by himself. This is where he brought home his first victim, Steven Hicks, he was a hitchhiker they drank beer and had sex.
