Hypothesis: Does weight image and body satisfaction differs between genders?
I believe that gender does have a lot to do with body and weight image. Every individual have different body methods and metabolism that helps them lose weight. Many people not only overweight people try many things to lose weight, dieting, diet pills, exercises, etc. these can affect The difference is in the testosterone levels among men and women which is responsible for the gender differences in the total body fat percentage and the fat distribution where the body stores fat. On average, a woman has about 7-10% more body fat than men and less muscle mass. The minimum necessary body fat for women is 12% and 4% for men. This difference in body composition means that men have a higher metabolic rate, meaning that they need more calories about 300 more per day than women in the same weight, because men’s muscle burns more calories than fat.
