Recommended: The difference and similarity of human beings and animals

In modern day America many people value animals, dogs in particular, more than humans. You might hear a response from someone that says “they are just like family”, or “I would do anything to save my dog” but what do people do about babies? It seems in this “modern world” that people do not value what a baby is. I have actually heard someone before say to me that a baby is not a living human being until they are born. My skin cringed. A baby is a baby as soon as it is conceived. The embryo is a baby. The embryo has life so it is a living human being. When looking at animal cruelty, the laws are very surprising because of the laws that are not on abortion. In the state of Georgia, animal cruelty is defined as “caused death or unjustifiable pain or suffering to any animal by an act, an omission, or wilful neglect.” Willful neglect means the intentional withholding of food and water required by an animal to prevent starvation or dehydration. ” “If anyone is charged with animal cruelty or willful neglect it is considered a misdemeanor with a fine up to $1,000, and/or being imprisoned f...
