I believe people should also have liberty and always take advantage of their rights as American citizens. They should believe it a blessing to have such wonderful rights and liberties. We have so many things to stand up for and fight for what we believe is right. People should not just sit back and let those chances drift away. I also believe the pursuit of happiness should be one of the master goals of each individual in this world.
These promises include: establish justice, insure domestic tranquility and provide for the common defence. Regardless of the outcome, the people who came together to create the preamble and the constitution were visionaries. They dreamed of expanding and prospering. With doing so, they wanted these general welfares to be taken across this nation and be provided to every citizen. Lastly, the Preamble states ”Do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” To secure the blessing of liberty and prosperity was simply what everyone was fighting for and hoped that one day they would achieve that goal.
The government recognizes that all human life is precious; and, therefore it does its best to enable each individual the ability to gain their desired position in life throug the help of social services. A position not necessarily of vast wealt h, but one in which a person may feel content and gratified. One would most likely describe it as being rich and famous, some would imply to have a lot of power; nonetheless, the personal definition of an American dream is the capacity to have a personal freedom, being able to get the highest level of education, being successful in finding an suitable job, to have a vigorous and happy family, eventually to have an reasonable place of living and dependable personal transportation.
The inaugural address was a speech which would reassure the American people that President Bush will lead us to victory. In the Address Bush promises to fulfill the oath that he has sworn. He said “ The survival of liberty in our land increasingly depends on the success of liberty in other lands The best hope for peace in our is the expansion of freedom in all the world” (www.cnn.com). This meant that in order to maintain peace and freedom we must help the countries who suffer in dictatorship and terrorism. Peace and freedom are America’s vital interests.
Many people need to remember that in America, our founding fathers stated that we need to make all men equal. In this aspect, if United States citizens work together, we can create a great vision. This country can once again be truthfully noted as America the Beautiful.
