Have you ever answered a phone call, sent a text message, or browsed the internet, on your mobile device, while driving? If so, are you aware that you could have severely injured or even killed pedestrians, other motorists, your passengers, or even yourself? The use of cell phones while driving started as a major problem and has become a full blown epidemic. Using a cell phone while driving is very stupid, selfish, and highly dangerous. When you text and drive you not only endanger your own safety, but the safety of each and every person in your vicinity. It is an issue that has the potential to impact every person that steps outside of their home and onto the roads and sidewalks. Cell phone usage while driving should be banned for a multitude of reasons. First, using a cell phone while driving is equivalent to, if not more dangerous than, driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
