Issue of Child Endangerment

Recently the Department of Job and Family Services decided to implement a brand new policy regarding the issue of child endangerment. This strict new policy states that if one or more documented offenses should arise from domestic violence, child abuse, or drug/alcohol incidents the child will be taken out of the home. The child in question will be in custody for a period no shorter than six months or until the parent undergoes serious treatment and counselling. Also the parent will have to show the courts all documented evidence proving that the offender has sought treatment and is in recovery.
