Have you ever wanted to do one project that determines your entire grade? I know I would not. If you mess up once you wouldn't even be able to pass the grade. Most kids would forget they even had an assignment. They won't be tested every 6-8 weeks, which is a great way to show what they learned. It would be too hard on all the students. Being graded periodically is a much better way to grade than one big project. First of all, if you mess up just once you would automatically fail the project. Who would want to fail because of one mistake? Imagine you getting a piece of information wrong, or putting it in the wrong spot. They would be so caught up in hanging out with friends because of tons of free time. It would be insanely hard to remember. Most students would not work on it everyday if they do remember. They would work on it probably once every other day. For the ones that do work it on everyday they would get it done before everyone else and have tons of free time, which is not good for students they will forget everything they learned. It is too much for the students to handle. Lastly, is that the students will not be tested on what they learned. Doing this keeps their mind in check. They will not remember if they just do one big project. Also doing this helps their grade a ton. Instead of doing on big project they would do different work everyday. If they get good grades on all of those they will definitely pass the class with ease. It is very easy compared to just one huge project. The grades will be very good if they don't do the project. Some people say that one big project is a good way to test the students. They say will get a good grade if they pay attention and try their hardest. They say it because the children will have tons of time to get the best information possible, therefore getting a great grade. I do not agree with any of these statements. It is not a good way to test the students. They will not get a whole lot of time to get it done and pass the
