Climate change real or fake?
Do you believe climate change is real? Do you know what climate change is? While I believe climate change is real and causing major damage to our Earth, others think climate change is either fake or not causing any real damage. The science shows that many things are happening to this Earth; for example the seas have risen almost eight inches and that these things have gone on for many years. Others however believe that climate change is not a problem we should worry about and that scientist are making up this problem.
People wonder what climate change is and if it is actually doing any harm to the earth.
Scientist have been able to tell what climate change is and predict what will happen if nothing is done to stop climate change. The dictionary definition of climate change is a change in global or regional climate patterns, in particular a change apparent from the mid to late 20th century onwards and attributed largely to the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced by the use of fossil fuels. Many people think the most of the manmade climate is being caused by the world’s largest companies that use the most power, which between them produced nearly two-thirds of the greenhouse gas emissions generated since the dawning of the industrial age, new research suggests. The companies range from investor owned firms, household names such as Chevron, Exxon and BP to state owned and government ran companies. They argue that their has not been a big temperature change in almost two decades. They also bring up the point of there not being enough data in the climate history to draw the conclusion of what is happening in the climate now is abnormal. Scientist started to record climate change around the 1800’s which many people believe is not enough data to do a comparison. Another reason some believe that climate change is not real is because of some instances where a scientist predicts a date of a significant climate change never happens.
