Since the beginning of time, mankind has sought after learning about and exploring the universe. This yearning drove us to achieve such great things as the journey to the moon and the discovery of water on mars. Nowadays, several people argue as to whether or not space exploration is worth the effort. I believe that it is humanity’s instinctual nature to pursue a better understanding of ourselves, and our universe. Further understanding of our universe will lead to the discovery of new technologies and ways to secure humanity’s survivability.
Such research could include the search for other Earth-like planets in the galaxy. Already, NASA’s Keplar telescope has discovered three other planets capable of supporting life (Mike). Without expansion into outer space, humans might eventually destroy themselves as a result of a strain on resources, or infighting over land. This is the direction of aerospace research. Conclusion These are the reasons why I believe there should be more investment in space research and technology.

Upon researching this issue, I have found that with such powers of invention people should have a breakthrough for long-term manned missions to explore another planet as far away as Mars. Mars is a planet that humans would like to have a chance to go to in the future to find new things and build a human habitat on Mars, which has never been done before. This research is about Space and Mars’ habitability, and how we want to figure out how to keep humans living in a spacecraft and on Mars for a long-term mission, before sending manned missions there. We need to know what the astronauts should bring along and what they should produce during their mission. Also, we need to do research about technologies that are being developed in order to make long-term space travel habitable for humans, and to learn any limitations of the technologies.
Mars is our best chance for inspiring generations to create new things and solve world problems. Human survival and the advancements of technologies and inspiration is inevitable through space travel to mars. Therefore, humanity must make the next big step of mars exploration for all the good things it holds. Humans have the capability to go to mars. It is just whether or not they decide to go now.
In Mars, there are several hazards the colonists should avoid which is radiation. In order to prevent radiation there would be a dome structure to protect the people from this factor.
