Secondly, Tony Stark focuses more on responsibility of the individual and family while Qiu pays more attention to his responsibility of the nation. As a hero movie, Iron Man emphasizes on hero’s realization of personal values. Tony Stark focuses a lot on achieving his personal value, which is to help the world out as Iron man and maintain the social justice and social order. The moment he achieves his personal value is also the time his dream came to fruition. By the time when he possesses his superpower from his powered armor, he realizes that he should take more responsibility to help and save the people in need single-handedly. They are normally not aiming to save the world, but sometimes they did it while achieving their small targets. They take more responsibility upon their shoulders when disaster happens, and they save their families, friends and strangers and ultimately become heroes. More importantly, these heroes all survive in the end. American hero movies emphasize on the theory that if everyone takes more responsibility for social justice, the society will become better. It is not to say that people should just follow the heroes. It is more about people taking responsibility and learning from their heroes. Since those characters in the movies are more true to the audience’s lives, they are easier to resonate.
