Recommended: Compare and contrast iron man batman

Iron Man is a superhero that appears in comics published by Marvel. The character was created by writer and editor Stan Lee. Iron man was also developed by scripter Larry Leiber and designed by artists Don Heck and Jack Kirby. To the readers, the history of him contains much intriguing events. The life of Iron Man began in different, exciting ways that is filled with surprises. The reason Iron Man came to be was because the editor and story-plotter Stan Lee had been “toying with the idea of a businessman superhero”. Tony underwent physical therapy to regain his strength. Rhodes felt deceived and became so heated he quit working for Tony. Rhodes was allowed to keep the “War Machine Armor” and Tony created a new model of the armor. The Neuromimetic Telepresence Unit 150 (Ntu-150), which he controlled while recovering. Also he used “artificial intelligence to aid him” which included Homer and Plato.
The continuity of Iron Man occurs a lot. There are very relevant continuities within this series. The kidnapping of Tony Stark by terrorists is the biggest continuity of the works of Iron Man. As well as Tony Stark being held captive by a warlord and fighting to survive. Also, the act of swearing to use his Iron suit for good and fighting crime to protect the innocent.
Iron Man has received many different responses from readers. Most readers find Iron Man to be a great comic with an even greater story line. Others however, find Iron Man to be a terribly written comic that sparks little to no interest with them. Responses vary depending on who you ask. Many of the characters in the older comic books were given makeovers to make the audiences like them more because they were flat and lacked emotion. This was called the Silver Age of Comics. The older characters lacked a personality. Stan Lee was an office assistant at Timely Comics in 1939 and soon after that he became an interim editor in the 1940s (Stan). When Martin Goodman, the publisher of Marvel Comics, Timely Comic’s new name, since 1939, asked Stan Lee to create a team of superheroes better than the Justice League of America, their rival in comic books, Stan Lee had his doubts. Mr. Goodman thought that comic books should be dumbed down because they were for “stupid children.” Stan Lee did not agree with Martin Goodman’s idea. Stan Lee already wanted to quit, so his wife advised him to go ahead and write the story the way he wanted to write it. If Goodman fired him it would be okay since he already was contemplating quitting. Lee decided to write a story about four people who got superpowers after an accident in space. They were completely different from other superheroes because they did not wear costumes. The story was also based in New York City instead of Metropolises or Gotham City like Superman and Batman. These characters also had a real personality along with a real job, no secret identity, or alter egos. This story was known as the Fantastic Four. Stark deceives the idea of lying and reveals to the media that he is Iron Man this being the Atonement. Stark returns to his life and lives life with the world knowing he is Iron Man- his return with the elixir. The completion of the resurrection is an important feature of the Hero and his life. The hero completes the final test and returns with the elixir which Stark has both done by defeating Obadiah and confirming his status as Iron Man.
