Investigation of the Most Favorable Sport Practiced by Youth

Introduction

The shooting Club in Mohandessin is a very famous sporting club in

Cairo. Almost all the sports are practiced in that club as it the

biggest.. Most of People living in Mohandessin district are members of

that club and most of them practice one or more sport. The sports are

played more frequently during the weekend which is Friday and Saturday

as during the week they are busy either with studying or work. I

realized that some sports are practiced more than others and I also

that the weight of the people was affected by the kind of sport they

play.

Aim:

To investigate the most favorable sport practiced by males and by

females between the age of 21 and 25 and the relation between the

sport and weight.

Prediction :

Since football is the most popular game in Egypt, I predict that

football game will be the most practiced sport among male youth of the

age between 21 and 25.

I also predict that aerobics will be the most practiced game by women

in the same age range as at that age ladies are more concerned about

their body shape and in the same time in Egypt women prefer sports

that they can practice at home as some of them are not totally free to

go to the club whenever they want.

Collecting data:

To be able to collect the necessary data for the investigation, I had

to look for people playing different sports. I decided to collect the

datum from the shooting club which is close to my home. I went to the

registration office of the club and got the following data from them.

The table below shows how many males and females from age 21 to 25 who

are members of the club.

Professional athletes are at the top of the food chain and are under fierce competition and scrutiny from their fellow athletes, and the ever watchful eye of the media. The result is athletes tend to treat their sport more as a game of survival and compete ruthlessly in order to be the best instead of playing for a pure love of the game.
