The Second Industrial Revolution was the expansion of steel, electricity, and petroleum. This Revolution is known to be from 1870-1914. This revolution was mostly caused from new products replacing old ones, like steel replacing iron. Steel then lead for a further spread of transportation among other things. Another major thing that was introduced was electricity. The Many activities that were usually done in the daytime, could now be done during the night. The discovery of electricity lead to the making of many other inventions that influenced the world greatly, such as the light bulb.
