PHASES OF BUSINESS PROCESS REENGINEERING
Fig .1: Phases Of Business Process Reengineering
1. Analysis Phase includes in-depth understanding about how work is being done
2. Design phase include, the process of rethinking and designing the best way to serve
3. Implement phase includes planning and executing the new modes of operation and managing the transition

1.Hammer and Champy:
Hammer an MIT professor turned consultant and Champy ,President of World Wide Consulting Company CSC Index, defined Business Process Reengineering as Fundamental rethinking and redesign of Business Process to achieve dramatic improvements in critical

This work has to be communicated throughout the project to those who are all involved in the project, and make sure there is a shared vision in order to achieve this.
Step2: Building the reengineering team:
In this stage start building the reengineering team, which consists of an executive leader, process owner and reengineering team. Where the executive leader motivates the people to get the work done and process owner guides the reengineering team to reengineer the work
Step3: Identify the opportunities for BPR:
In this step identify the core business areas which needs to be looked in order to reengineer and also analyse ,how the information and technology is currently used and look around the latest technologies in and around the world which best suits for the present work
Step4: Understand the present/existing
... should be included at this phase is that the management will review and produce implementation guides for implementing improvements.
In today's competitive marketplace, all firms are seeking ways to improve their overall performance. One such method of improvement, recently adopted by many firms, is benchmarking. Benchmarking is a technique used to evaluate internal business processes. "In this analysis, managers determine the firm's critical processes and outputs, baseline those processes, then compare the performance of each process against a standard outside the industry" (Bounds, Yorks, Adams, & Ranney 1994). To effectively improve a business process to world-class quality, managers must find a firm that is recognized as a global leader, not just the industry standard. Successful benchmarking requires tailor-made solutions, not just blind copying of another organization. Measurement and interpretation of data collected is the key to creating business process solutions.

Highly competitive environment and need of innovation, the companies are facing high pressures to innovate and improve the business process. As IT budgets are limited, process owners and IT departments need to decide how to divide their spending on efficiency and flexibility enhancing IT capabilities to optimally support the execution of business processes. The limited IT budgets put pressure on IT process owners to find the perfect mix to achieve the efficiency and flexibility to support smooth execution of business processes (Heckmann, 2015). IT departments need to find the right balance to use IT budget and decision making ability and play their role in maximizing the organization’s revenue.
According to Yost (2009), improvement of business process leads to innovation and transformation. Besides, a company’s capability directly reflects by how well it run leading to the levels of productivity of each organization. Therefore, as mentioned in Beer & Shelton (2012), in order to accomplish the improvement, Boldflash should emphasize on three artifacts including Boldflash Internal Business Process, Boldflash Product documentation and Boldflash technical Service
It is a step of defining the goals of the projects and the results are aimed at reaching certain levels of productivity of customer satisfaction. The second stage is measure, and it is the stage of collecting data and facts and evaluating current operational performance. The third stage is analyze with the purpose of developing methods and theories that will best suit the solving of the problem; it is also a stage of detecting cause-and-effect ties of the processes. The fourth stage is improve, it is aimed at generating ideas for reaching the desired process improvement. Finally, there is the control stage that is about monitoring the operations to find out whether the process of improvement is smooth and the problems were solved (Meredith & Shafer,
This information is continuously evolving throughout the project life and is shared amongst all the stakeholders of the project.
Correct identification of the existing government process, changes required, frozen requirements and understanding the importance of process reengineering are the critical success factors related to the second category.
D- Do the action steps you have defined. Implement the change process you have described in your plan.
In this process, it was important for me to establish the sense of urgency as well as the vision of the project. I accomplished this by meeting and working with the stakeholders, securing their consensus and working with the technical team to develop technical...
The third phase is norming. This is when team member have an agreement on who does what, the roles and responsibilities are clear and acceptable. Decisions can be delegated to individuals within the group. The team discusses and develops its processes and working methods. Furthermore a leader is also picked which is general respect other member and some leadership is more shared by the team to develop everyone skills.
The most important value of BPM is transparency over the business. Transparency means obtaining a deep understanding of how the organization works which enables us to manage the complexity of organization effectively [11]. Business process models enables the process practitioners to achieve this by documenting: control flow (i.e., what we need to do and when), artefacts (i.e., what we need to work on either physical or electronic), and resources (i.e., who does the work either humans
Business process reengineering (BPR) is a management approach aiming at improvements by means of elevating efficiency and effectiveness of the processes that exist within and across organizations. The key to BPR is for organizations to look at their business processes from a "clean slate" perspective and determine how they can best construct these processes to improve how they conduct business.
Lastly, this stage looks at how ideas come to life through production. Therefore, implementation must ensure that design details are put into effect and that the client is satisfied with the final product.
