INTRODUCTION
I. I want you all to breath; can someone in the class tell me how you feel when you breathe? Or what comes to your mind when you breathe? Air is the most important source of energy we need to live.
II. Audience Interest: Unfortunately, air pollution has become a constant threat to all of us for the last couple years. Air pollution, according to Air Pollution Transborder an article in the month of March of this same year, described air pollution “as the presence of contaminants in the atmosphere and that it is often referred as anthropogenic (human-caused) emissions.”
III. Credibility/Topic Importance: More shocking, air pollution can be harmful to society’s health and to the environment. Environmental experts argue that air pollution is now common. According to David Holzman, the World Health Organization estimates that five million people die annually due to exposure to air pollution.
IV. Thesis: Fortunately, we still have time to protect the air we breathe. To solve this air pollution problem, we have to maintain our vehicles clean, respect traffic signs and if possible, we should drive less.
V. Preview of main points:
A. First, I will explain how air pollution is a problem.
B. Second, I will present you the solution to this problem which requires the participation of everyone.
C. Third, I will present the action that each one of us has to take in order to solve this problem.
Transition: When you need to solve a problem first of all you need to know what the problem is exactly, so let me explain you a little bit about air pollution.
BODY
I. According to the article Air Transborder, “Air pollution is a result of sources of primary pollutants; like factories and motor vehicles. While smog alerts still occur, poll...

3. Drive less: Combine activities into one trip. Take advantage of public transportation. Bicycling or walking which can be suitable transportation alternatives.
CONCLUSION
I. Review main points:
A. As you heard air pollution is one of the main causes of climate change and rise of respiratory illnesses, which is caused mainly by driving vehicles that release all sorts of chemicals in the air.
II. Restate thesis: If we all either stop using our cars, doing different tasks in one trip or drive according to the signs of the road, we all can reduce air pollutants from our air.
III. Closing device: Remember that this is our planet, our place we all live in and we won’t have another one. We have to protect our air so we can protect our love ones as well as future generations. Thank You
For the second part of my plan, I propose that we all take individual action to make the air quality better for ourselves and everyone else, like driving less and not topping off the gas tank. By encouraging local lawmakers to use the effective plans of Los Angeles and by actively taking strides in combating the battle of air pollution in our daily lives, the breaths we take can soon be of clean, ...
Pollution has become a heated issue in recent years. The destruction of the environment along with serious health problems are the eventual effects. The extensive use and availability of automobiles, tremendous amounts of production in the booming economy and the constant increase in demand for energy, can be held responsible.
PURPOSE: To persuade my audience that we must take action now to control air pollution
Air pollution is a contamination of the air we breathe. Every day, hundreds of millions of factories continue to burn fossil fuels, natural gases, and coal. In turn, these toxic pollutants cause this epidemic to only increase as the years go on. Emissions from factories are a major culprit of air pollution in this day and age. Burning of fossil fuels, including oil, coal, and natural gases are to blame. (1) Not to mention that burning fossil fuels are the leading cause smog, acid rain, and global warming. Though, we need them to power our homes and vehicles, there are very detrimental repercussions due to these necessities.
Pollution occurs in many different forms such as, air, water, soil, radioactive, noise, heat/thermal and light. People from all around the world experience different levels and effects of air pollution. Millions of Americans live in areas where urban smog, particle pollution, and toxic pollutants are serious health concerns. If exposed to high enough levels of certain air pollutants one can experience irritation of the eyes, nose, and throat. Wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and breathing difficulties are other fatal effects caused from air pollution. Air pollution is a problem for everyone and can only be fixed if everyone were to work together to help prevent it as much as
Air pollution refers to the concentration of harmful chemicals that have been added to the atmosphere. Such as emission in the environment, usually from heavy traffic, power generated industry and coal smoke. Large amounts of these chemicals may be harmful and can impact public health (Lu et al., 2015).
Air pollution is a silent killer, it lurks through our homes and surprises. There are designated agencies that are made to help combat pollution, setting regulations and making laws to protect the environment. Whether it is regulating car pollution, equipment or providing information to be better aware of increasing levels of pollution. Cars are a huge factor in air pollution, might not be the whole pie, but they’re a portion of the problem.
Relevance: Air pollution is something that everyone should be concern, especially if we’re advancing a lot in technology, especially in vehicles and the importance of our air or the environment.
Many hazardous pollutants escape from the internal combustion of the engine. Conventional gas powered vehicles use irreplaceable fossil fuels to run. When burned, these fossil fuels create numerous toxins like carbon dioxide (Larminie 246). Carbon dioxide is considered the main greenhouse gas that creates the foundation for global warming (hybridcars.com, pollutants). This harmful pollutant may not have a serious effect on people at first, but it does have consequential effects on the environment that in turn put people in danger (Nutramed.com). The major consequence caused by global warming is the rise in average temperature. This results in a domino...
Air pollution is caused by many things such as car fumes, burning of fossil fuels,
I hope this essay points out the view why air pollution is bad for our health. It causes so many respiratory problems and not only that the dangerous toxicity of the gasses that we’re exposed to everyday is killing us. Studies have shown the connection between pollutants such as ozone and sulfate have increased the number of asthma attacks. Some have said that pollution is good and when we need it sustain life on Earth. Studies also show a connection between short-term exposure and increased visits to emergency departments and hospital admissions for respiratory illnesses, particularly in at-risk populations including children, the elderly, and increasing the number of asthma attacks. The probability of having an asthma attack varies on how much due to exposure of air pollution.
What do you think is the world’s largest cause of preventable deaths? Smoking? Poor diet? Blood pressure? It’s air pollution. (The Independent Co. 2014) Air pollution is such a huge environmental issue that kills many people and it’s often not even noticed. People can be effected by air pollution and not even be aware of it. Air Pollution is caused by biological materials, chemicals, particulates, or other harmful materials going into the earth’s atmosphere.
Air pollution is a gas, liquid, or solid dispersed through ordinary air, which released in a big enough quantity to harm the health of people or other animals, kill plants or stop them growing properly,
Air pollution is a type of pollution that can severely damage our environment as well as the earth’s atmosphere. Air pollution occurs all the time when the air contains many substances ...
Air is really important for our survival. Air gives us oxygen which is essential for our bodies and our organs to live. It is the most essential element for all living organisms and yet, most humans play a big role on polluting this essential resource and this means air pollution occurs. According to the Geoplanet.org, air pollution is the addition of harmful substances to the atmosphere resulting in damage to the environment, human health and quality of life. When the air contains gases, dust, fumes or odor in harmful amounts, this could be harmful to health or comfort of humans and animals or which could cause damage to plants and materials. The air pollution is always associate with the greenhouses. The substances that cause air pollution are called as pollutants. Pollutants can be classified into two classes which are primary air pollutants and secondary air pollutants. The six common air pollutants are sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide, lead and particulates. Air pollution happens due to many causes that come from many sources
