Recommended: Life of a teacher easy

I interviewed a teacher, not just any regular teacher. Her name is Marissa Patton, she is 24 years old and lives in Dallas, Pennsylvania. I conducted the interview during our lunch break, I work with Marissa one or two times a week in her classroom. Marissa is a preschool teacher, working under a creative curriculum. This means that there are no worksheets, desks or instruction; the day is based off of play. Marissa is a gentle and kind person yet is respected by the children she works with. Marissa has been working at Little Meadows Learning Center for a total of four years. She worked her first two years as a part time employee due to her college schedule, being a “floater”. The past two years she has been working full time in her own classroom. I asked her how she ended up doing this type of work, she answered “I chose this career because of my desire to help children to become successful adults in our ever changing world.
