Freud cannot be celebrated due to the fact that he had no research, support, evidence, and major analysis to complete his work. He mainly theorized his opinion more than showing analytical proof. However, he did bring something to the field of psychology. Freud’s ideas psyched people inside the field, and outside the field. He brought many together and pushed many to prove or to discredit his ideas. He brought a sort of knowledge into the field; a sort of unity. Sigmund Freud is astonishing due to how much he associated to the field, and due to how much people paid attention to him. Many have worked their whole life trying to figure him out. One does not have to know all the answers in order to be regarded as “great”.
