The Roman Empire is so legendary that it is still being talked about in 2015! Recently I read that “Nicolas Sarkozy warns EU must stem migrant flow or risk same fate as Roman Empire”. Isn’t that cool! Even Han Dynasty is becoming a topic, with people finding ancient items in the Western Han Dynasty area.

Although Han Dynasty was founded around 206 BC, the Roman Empire came about earlier around 27 BC. The Han Dynasty controlled a significant amount of Asia and became China’s determinative empire. Liu Bang (the leader) made the Han Dynasty to become what it is by gathering people to help him upheaval the Qin. It began when Augustus Caesar became the first emperor of Rome. Many people thought that the Roman Empire was fictional. Although some things are fictional like the “one eyed cyclops” mostly everything is true. The Roman Empire a massive amount of territory coving areas such as, the Mediterranean Sea, Africa, Asia, and Europe.

Han Dynasty and Roman share legendary characteristics, such as the Great Wall and Roman Aqueduct. Those two are major tourist attractions today. Han Dynasty religion is Buddhism meanwhile; the people of the Roman Empire are intro into Christianity. The religions are different but both are considered “superseding” religions. Both empires had high integrated political layouts. They also both fell apart because of the same type of internal problems. There are so many differences that it is impossible to name them all. The Roman Empire was a sea and land empire and Han Dynasty was just land. Han Dynasty had a lot of beautiful luxurious items in the meantime, Rome Empire sat on a gold mine.

In conclusion, the Roman Empire and Han Dynasty may have similarities and differences, but there still unique their own way. It took powerful people and dedication to build both these empires. Nothing but blood, sweat, and tears were put into these empires. If I had to choose who I think was more successful… I would choose Han Dynasty because not only do I love Asia, but they are some of the smartest human beings known to
