I saw a meme a few days ago about girls who wear wigs. It said something along the lines of people thinking girls have no hair cause they wear wigs. It then revealed a girl who has a lot of hair without the wig on. Now it stuck with me cause some girls really do wear wigs cause they don’t have hair. People suffer from Alopecia and other types of hair conditions. I suffered from mild hair loss after I had my first child. The hair you gain while pregnant does shed tremendously after pregnancy due to hormonal changes. That does not make it easy to deal with. I posted a “postpartum” picture to Facebook and you could clearly see that all my edges had vanished and then some. I looked at the pic several times before I finally took it down. I can laugh at that now, actually I just did, but everyone can’t. Everyone can’t exude the confidence that Jada Pinkett Smith has to accept that change in their life. That circumstance or congenital anomaly that may separate them from the next. So yea, they continue to wear wigs or other cover up methods to hide that part of them.
