My research will be on Mongolia, here are the colors of Mongolia. The flag of
Mongolia consists of three equal sized vertical stripes. The stripes on the left and right of the flag are red. The red once represented
(Mongolia's socialist beliefs), but as for today it stands for liberty and progress. The blue stripe in the middle is a traditional color for Mongolia, which is a representation for the sky. There is a symbol on the left side of the flag that is called a
“soyombo”. The soyombo has different symbols within such as the moon, sun, fire, ying yang sign, and multiple triangles.
Geography: Mongolia is a pretty big country, studies show it is (slightly larger than Alaska). It is located in Central
Asia, however, it is known to be spread through East Asia as well. Mongolia is known for its most outstanding feature which is the Mongolian Plateau. Most of the country is grasslands, about two thirds of the country. There is a huge diversity in the landscapes, which means a difference in the climate and geographic features.
Mongolia has some of the largest mountains such as the Hentiyn Mountains and Hangayn
Mountains which are located in the west central and eastern part of Mongolia.
History: The son of Yesugei, named Temujin. Temujin, later known as Chinggis Khan was the
“founder of the world’s largest continental empire”. Before he was not able to take over the land, there were continuous “wars and raids over grazing areas and water sources”. Chinggis Khan was forced to put together “clans” that later on turned into a nation for the next 800 years.

However when people started to visit there more often they realized Mongolia has a very modern diet. They not only have food for meat lovers, but food for vegetarians as well. However due to the unpredictable weather,
Mongolians eat foods with high calories and vitamins.
This usually consists of a lot of meat in the winter and dairy products in the summer.
Tourism: Many tourists question if it is safe enough to travel to Mongolia by themselves. It is said to be “one of the lowest crime-ridden countries to visit”. Therefore, if traveling by yourself you will have nothing to worry about.
However, to play it extra safe travel with agency or tour operator will be definitely safe in Mongolia. Yolyn Am is one of the most visited/ popular areas that tourist visit very often.
