Public policy is something that determines the legislative process in America, and around other states. What would you do if policy affected your area? Do you know your fellow state representative you can contact? These are things you should know about the public policy process, since we are the people to elect representatives on our behalf to represent our ideal views. Incrementalism follows the same steps as the rational decision making model, but recognize limits to rationality. It is both a model of how decisions are made and a description of how contending interest may react in making current policy. Incrementalism uses and builds what is already known, without relying on reanalyzing things that have been done already. If global warming continues at the rate it is right now, scientist have projected a large of events can occur in the coming years.Unfortunately there has already been examples of the ill affects of global warming here in the states, especially in California.
Scientist predict that the region of California will get even hotter and drier. Some 75 percent to 90 percent of California’s freshwater comes from the Sierra Nevada snowpack, which is a resource that has significantly dwindled in the last years. Lack of an adequate about of water has led to more wildfires, and for the first time in 120 years the winter average temperature in the Sierra Nevada was above freezing. Across the state in the last 12 months were the warmest on record. The drought has increased in California at record highs over the past 100 years, due to more rising temperatures. A paleoclimate study found that the drought stands out as the worst to hit the state in 1,200 year largely due to the record-high
