It consists of have two to three standard eight-ounce mixed drinks. I do not feel this influences my risk for chronic disease by much. Although, if I were to drink on a daily/more frequent basis my risk for getting hepatomegaly, splenomegaly, cirrhosis, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and many others would significantly increase. We live in a time where technology has almost taken over our lives. I have not had any major health problems, and have been able to consume most foods without having to worry about gaining weight. These last two years, however, I started to gain weight and have become concerned with my diet. A few of the chronic health conditions that occur in my family are breast cancer and high blood pressure. Breast Cancer is not something that she overcame, since her diagnosis no one else in the family has been diagnosed. My grandmother is getting close to the age where most women are diagnosed but it is not something that has occurred since then. High blood pressure, on the other hand, is something very common in my family. My dad, both grandfathers, and both great grandfathers either currently have or have had high blood pressure. I will be talking about statistics, preventive tactics, exercises, and environmental effects of both breast cancer and high blood pressure.

A person should eat healthy and nutritiously balanced diet to maintain a good health. He should has such a diet in which he can get all the important nutrients and vitamins that are essential for overall growth and development. He should also take care of an amount of calories and servings that he takes on daily basis to ensure a good health. I recorded my food intake for two consecutive days and compared it with Canada’s Food Guide in order to know where I need to make improvements for a good health.
If a person is hungry and running late or on a budget they will most likely stop at a fast food restaurant to grab a bite to eat. This is not unusual as majority of the human population eats at some type of fast food restaurant, whether it be McDonalds, Arby’s, Burger King or Taco Bell. These food places are quite common because the food is cheap, fast and easily accessible. However even though they may be beneficial in some aspects, they can effect a person’s lifestyle and cause them minor and major health problems.
