Importance Of Time Management

In the span of two weeks I have realized two things. One, I eat pizza too much, and two, I tend to manage my time quite efficiently. I don’t procrastinate and put off my homework assignments till last minute. Instead, I use my time wisely between school and practice to finish my assignments and study. Although, I did find “hidden time” that I never knew I had. For example, After a while of doing homework, I tend to give up and watch Netflix to give me a break from the work. When instead, I could’ve spent my time continuing my homework assignments. I find myself stressed out at times because I think I have too many tasks on my plate. I value being successful, and in order to be successful I have to keep my priorities straight. I keep schooling first along with my family, then come my friends and social life. While they are all important to me and they all must be thought of, I also have to think of my own personal health. In the time management project I realized that I tend to eat a lot of pizza and I eat more snacks than full meals, but I end up balancing it out by working out. I have soccer practice every night for about two hours and that helps me stay in shape. Even after the soccer season I try to go to the gym and workout so I can maintain my personal health. My personal health is one of my values that tend to be forgotten about at times because I get caught up in other activities. Although during this project I realized that without soccer my personal health goals would not be achieved. If I had to do anything to improve on my time management it would be sleeping less when I could use that time for more important things. Yes, sleep is important, but some nights I realized I was receiving around 10 or 11 hours of sleep. I only need about 7 or 8 hours to be able to fully function throughout the day so the extra 2 or 3 hours could be used for something more important. In conclusion, the project has shown me how I could improve on my time management skills, and it also showed me what time management skills were
