Trust is a firm belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something; confidence or faith in a person or thing, or in an attribute of a person or thing (OED). Integrity is the moral principle. Honesty is an important value because it adds to a positive outlook and encourages the ethical adequate conduct. Honesty helps with the development of trust. When the development of trust occurs, it will make others feel more secure in the person they are putting their trust in.
Communication is used everywhere and if you keep your communication open with others it makes it easier for people to come and talk to you and be open about certain things. In my professional and personal life I will make sure I’m always available to not only communicate with others but to listen as well. Being loyal to others can be one of the best characteristics a person can have, this shows commitment and loyalty to others where they feel they can trust you. The code of ethics for myself is something I feel Enron should live by a little more to prevent them from going downhill like they
Just like every other people I Have my own set of values which is most essential part of me and makes me a better person. The Values which are important for me are love,care, and truth. Firstly, I would like to share my opinion on my own values. I feel there is no power bigger than power to love. Loving people around doesn’t mean to fool around with boys and girls and have fun but to love in a positive way to right people at right time makes things beautiful.
Each and every one of us believes in our own personal values. These values are what gives us strength and strive us to do what makes us happy. These values are very important to us and are standards that we live by whether we realize it or not. Everyone has something we value including me. Some of the values I might think highly of,
Peers are accountable for their commitment and they are free and confidence to be direct when promises are missed and quick to thank others when they are kept. When you can't keep the promise, it's perfect to update all who are affected so that they know well in advance. Team members must understand that the teammate's approaches and insights though different, but can be as valid as their own and this process helps members to understand that others approaches are as good as theirs. In order to build trust in an organization, as a leader, your people want to know your trustworthiness, your commitment, capability and how much you care about them. Put your people first and put yourself last.
A good leader must be faithful to his team and activities which will create an atmosphere of assurances with the team. A leader’s faith and knowledge in their self abilities and the world around them will help them gain inspiration and inspire others. As I work through my own challenges to become a great leader I hope to become a great leader who leaves a positive imprint on the people I lead.
Caring for others also allows me to lead others. By establishing the value of caring for others, my followers will be more likely to listen to me. This value shows others that I am always keeping their best interests in mind throughout the accomplishment of a goal. Attached to caring for others is “mutual respect”. Mutual respect is necessary to receive this value because it creates the foundation of this value.
The interests of these individuals as well as the value of their life are viewed as being inherently less important than the interests and lives of the reference group. From a liberal standpoint (and the standpoint of many non-liberals as well), it is important that every individual has the right to equal existence amongst their fellow human beings. Therefore, Altman’s justification for regulation of hate speech appeals to an intrinsically valuable liberal belief. Personal values Personal values are generally things that one believes in and are of great importance in ones’ life and endeavors. They describe an individual and vary from person to person as well as circumstances to circumstances because they change overtime. For instance one whom beliefs in hard work for success, self-reliance. Every individual has a core set of values regardless whether one is aware of them or not. It is vital to acknowledge ones values for they help in making the decision on how to live one’s life, values and decision-making.
Service: an effective leader humbles them self to be of service to their team. They must have and feel the supported. The leader must readily offer the tools needed to do their jobs well. It is also rewarding to be recognized for their efforts. That is all part of a leadership which serves the team, and not the opposite.
