When the leaders understand that the ethics development process that would make them an effective leader, an increasing number of leaders would have a personal ethics system. Understanding the importance of ethics is crucial because leaders will consciously work to develop and use ethics, which makes them more effective. This acceptance will result in ethical decision making and the ability to put theory into practice as well as create ethical organizations. This will lead to good leadership are further discussed in the following sections. What seems so minor on a personal level can actually affect the entire society.
The program is also appropriate for me in preparing me for ethical challenges faced by HR professionals and the role expected of me in assisting organization and individuals to realize high ethical standards. Lastly, I came from a country where our ethical standard is relatively low within the public sector. Introduction We live in a world where differences stand out and are often celebrated. Cooperation within an organization has been noted as a key component as numerous scholars have mentioned that a sense of community is important to organizational success. Organizations are constantly tested with various moral and ethical problems and dilemmas. Organizational leaders are the key to establishing an ethical climate in the workplace. By understanding and improving their own moral reasoning, and the biases that affect moral judgment, they enable themselves to make better decisions. This has a catalytic effect that positively increases organizational climate, ultimately improving all organizational behavior. Having an ethical climate is important because it directly reflects the ethical behavior of organizational leaders.
The challenge of leadership is being able to respond to the diversity of today’s society. It is important to be able to interact with followers and develop an alliance in order to achieve goals. A leader must be willing to take risks and explore opportunities for improvement and growth. By delegating and giving others responsibilities, it rewards their accomplishments or provides a learning experience for mistakes. People who recognize the value of individual freedom in addition to working hard using their own leadership skills and understanding to influence others will find a stronger character within themselves.

These behavioral traits are essential in being a successful leader. Organizations need leaders that can work with their employees, build team work and be open to new ideas, (Lawler, 2003). In order for progress to be made, employees need to believe in their leader, and in turn, the leader needs to believe in their employees. Trust is obtained through mutual respect, building that bond of commitment to insure organizational success, (Lawler, 2003). The employees will follow a leader that promotes a positive attitude and enjoys expressing their ideas and stories.

Leadership is about influencing the people, by producing direction, purpose and motivating in order to accomplish the mission, vision and improving the organization. The leadership philosophy is evolved based on the experiences, both positive and negative, in most of the initiatives and activities that we undertake. It is also one among the collaboration and teamwork within which the team members can utilize each other’s strengths to counter the weaknesses of the individuals.
